DMC to play at his ability 50% of the time < a player 80% of his talent playing at their ability 100% of the time. I don't think that DMC's potential and actual ability will be reached until he is on his 3rd deal.

There is some talk that there has been someone acting in that capacity with the potential hiring of a new GM:

According to two people with knowledge of the talks, the owner who formally took control of the team on Tuesday has already interviewed Golden State Warriors assistant general manager Travis Schlenk and Memphis general manager Chris Wallace for the Kings' general manager position. The people spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because of the private nature of the search.

As was reported by USA TODAY Sports on Monday, Ranadive has informed Kings basketball president Geoff Petrie that he intends on bringing in his own front-office people. Petrie's contract expires at the end of June, and he has agreed to assist during the transition that will lead to his exit. But while the general manager search is ongoing, it appears the coaching search may have already concluded so long as Ranadive gets his way.

With that being said I don't know if Cousins will fit by default. Why make all these moves when a known problem has not shown the ability to change? It's a perspective a coworker of mine stated and that's when I started to flip flop.

I don't see anything special in Waiters. He scored an inefficient 15 PPG this year. He's a guy that needs the ball in his hands to be effective...hmm gee we need one of those! /sarcasm

Even as is, the #1 pick is iffy. Noel is barely 200 pounds and coming off a major injury and we trade for him in exchange for Cousins at the advent of a new ownership?

He's a stud some of the time! Westphal was a my way or sit type coach and it didn't go well. My question is do you think DMC is going to all of a sudden be a good team mate and good player? Do you think he's going to decrease the technical fouls? The bad non effort defense? His pouting and the world is against me attitude?

I don't see anything anywhere that points to him changing.
