SCREW JVG

Post#1 » by RiversideClips » Fri May 31, 2013 3:37 am

Have absolutely no faith in a Commentator/Coach who states that the Clippers are, Fakers, Floppers, Show-Boaters and demeans the team for 2 years on every Clipper telecast he does.
JVG has a Big Nut -Sack if he has the gonads to actually want to coach the team he ridiculed so much.
Do Not like this at all.

The best organizations hire the best talent and don't let emotions get in the way. Clearly if he would want to coach this team then he doesn't believe much of what he said in the past anyways.

he isn't a great a coach. A ton of crying over the years, a couple of deep playoff runs, one destroyed Toyota on the JFK Tarmac and NO Rings.
I just don't like freaking BS'ers & that is what JVG does and w/ no grace.

I kinda disagree with you guys, I think JVG is a great coach that should be consider as a top 3 candidate for this team.

However, he needs someone like Ewing or Yao to make his playbook effective.

the hell with everything and everyone. let's hire ralph lawler to be our HC and broadcast at the same time. robert pack can assist and do the color commentary, bring back elgin baylor to be our hypeman, donald owes him a decent wall mounted clock anyway... and mike smith can provide some high quality H2O.
ehhhhh f it.

That would be so awesome I can already see one of those 'inside trax' when he's drawing a play on a timeout: "Soo Deandre you set the pick and - OH ME OH MY - Blake you cut to the basket anddd SLAAAAM DUNK"

Downside would be if we are in a close game and our opponent goes up 100-99 he'd just clear the bench cause, you know, it's the Lawler's law...

It's still a good job and I'm sure he recognizes that. I can't stand Miami and would love nothing more than to see them bounced from postseason play, but if Spo left its still a great coaching job that I'm sure many coaches would love to have. So I don't put too much weight into the bashing he does

He was probably like, we'll if that's the way you feel, fine, screw this job! Lol. I'm kind of glad, the offense wouldn't have improved if he got the job. And we all witnessed what it's like when the only offensive strategy is CP3.

true. besides, i am starting to think that JVG doesn't want the stress that comes with coaching a contender.
well let's move on already. hoping for karl but we probably would end up with hollins, it looks like. yuk.

Hollins may not be an option anymore. I heard him saying he wants to stay with Memphis. Like you said Karl#1.
