Hey guys sorry about starting a new thread, but me and a few of my buddies close to the toronto area are making a road trip to catch game 6 on Saturday. I've never been to a Pacer game before or anywhere close to Indianapolis, so hopefully you guys can help me out here.
1. I want to get a yellow shirt obviously so I dont look dumb, do they give shirts away? If not I'll prob snag a George tshirt jersey
2. Places to get drunk before the game near the arena- cheap beers basically?
3. After the game pubs/bars that are a good time for a bunch of 23-24 year olds.
Thanks guys, Go Pacers!

Re: First Pacer game!
The yellow shirts were give aways at earlier games. Something will be on every seat. Could be shirt could be rally towel. Lots of bars nearby although not cheap. I like to eat pregame at Pearl Street Pizza. There are older threads with similar info. If you have car, late night spots for your age are in Broad Ripple, but downtown has plenty of bars on Pennsylvania, Georgia, and S. Meridian. Slippery Noodle great blues bar.

There is something on every seat. I guess it depends on where you sit. The nosebleeds will have the towels, while the seats closer to the floor will have shirts.

Gotta hit the slippery noodle after the game. Always a great band playing somewhere in there and with 3+ bars inside its never too hard to saddle up and get a drink.

Re: First Pacer game!
First of all thanks for all the input, second of all sorry about the game 7 loss, I was really rooting for you guys. Coming all the way from Toronto it was quite a long drive but me and my buddies had a great **** time.
Got absolutely drunk as a skunk before the game and walked over to the arena from our hotel, which was awesome. Loved the enthusiasm from Pacer fans, place was bumping. Our seats were up pretty damn high but it really didn't matter, we were just happy to be there. Had to boo that pussy Bosh everytime he got the ball and was booing Lebron pretty hard as well.
After the game went to a bar, honestly couldn't tell you where it was or what it was called, like I said that booze was flowing quite heavily at this point. Ended up dropping the Canadian line a few times and had a "nice"
night with a local girl haha. On the way home from the girls house I enter the hotel seeing my one friend being escorted upstairs by an officer because he had lost his key and couldn't remember where his room was (idiot lol), and upon entering the room my one other friend is passed out face first on the floor with 2 open beds haha what a night.
Had to try white castle and sonic on the way home. Sonic is one of the funniest ordering systems I have ever seen, loved how a girl roller blades your food out to you haha, never seen anything like that.
Anyways we loved the city and had a damn good time, thanks for the input and great season guys!

I'm not alone! I thought I was the only one. I live in Richfield.
I grew up in South Dakota so we chose favorite teams at random pretty much. I like watching Miller, Person, Scrempf, Smits and on and on...
