Bargnani?

Post#1 » by GettinitDone » Sat Jun 1, 2013 4:23 pm

Ujiri is already shopping him.

Should we trade Tyson for him + pick? They really wanna dump him so bad, any player they get in return would be deemed as upgrade. They may even add a first round pick if it means getting rid of him... if we give them Tyson, maybe even unprotected first round pick (next year)?

I look at this that Tyson was bad this year... he was bad at the things he was supposed to be good at (rebounding, blocking), and he remained bad at the things he was bad at (scoring).

At least Bargnani, in his worst shooting season, still put up 12.7ppg. It's one thing he does well. Tyson in comparison does not do any thing well. One of the last few games, Bargs put up 26pts (5-7 3PT). This kid can shoot. Maybe he needs a bonafide scorer like Melo alongside him instead of being the primary option?

I would have a tough time trading Amare for Bargnani let alone Chandler.

Bargnani is awful, he can't even score anymore. Pretty injury prone too.
My lifetime better have a Knicks championship.

There's really no purpose to Bargnani.

If you want Bargnani, just tell STAT to start shooting 3's. As I've suggested on numerous occasions.

Ah, I so wish you were actual GM, deary. Its so cute of you to think Bargnani is a good scorer, its so amazing he could score 12.7 points on nearly 13 shot attempts. it totally justifies his inability to play basketball. I am a nice guy, i would grant you your wish and take away Chandler and first pick from you. Only if I could.

Why, we need spacing for Melo and a healthy 2nd scorer.

Third biggest number 1 draft bust in the last twelve years behind Kwame Brown and Greg Oden.

Can injuries really qualify someone as a bust?

GO was great for the 15 minutes he could stay healthy

Any player that gets drafted so high and doesn't turn out to have a successful NBA career due to either lack of talent, motivation or good health is a bust.

Eh injuries are a little different than lack of talent or motivation. Oden was becoming a monster and would prob be the best center in the game right now if he was healthy.

There are only two Bargnani trades I would make. One is this:

nykballa2k4 wrote:Amare and Novak for Gay and Bargnani

And the other one is:

Amare and Novak for Bargnani, Amir Johnson, Linas Kleiza and Terence Ross

They can keep that 7ft SG.
