A hobbled and broken down Mike miller in the game with Lebron almost allowed them for a comeback. These losers couldnt hit open shots to help free up Lebron and he had to force drives looking like a one man show. What a pathetic cast I really cant stand Wade at all and this team has no heart its disgusting. Wade should just retire and do that dumb fashion or modeling w/e.

Alright, expecting one of those "unforgettable" type games from LeBron in game 7. He can't be this big of a letdown in the playoffs after a regular season that had people comparing him to peak Jordan. Not that he's been bad, he just hasn't done anything really special yet.

Lebron has been every bit as good as peak Mj this year. The casts are the difference plus having phil jackson and a sound system. Plus Pippen was better than this years Wade. He has not been a letdown Heat have had unreal numbers the inconsistent and undependable teammates are the problem.

I meant "letdown" in the sense he hasn't had a truly great game where he's dominated from start to finish. He had several last year. Jordan at his peak had them throughout the playoffs. He had bad games/series, too; not saying Jordan was perfect. Again, it's not that LeBron's been bad, or even average, because he hasn't. He's been really, REALLY good this series. But, after a season that had people saying he was as good as or better than peak Jordan, I was hoping/expecting to see some transcendent type playoff performances. He hasn't done that yet.

So if Lebron and the Heat disappoint in Game 7, I'm assuming most of you won't have this as Lebron's best season due to his playoff performance. Correct?

His playoff performance has been great besides the costly turnovers. There's a certain point where your 2nd best player misses wide open layups and your 3rd best player goes 1-for whatever that it doesn't matter how well you play. Too much sucking and incompetence for your team to win

Regular season Lebron was at that level, but....in the playoffs, Lebron hasn't. He's been very good, but the dropoff is obvious.

It already isn't his best season. Even if they don't lose.

How would you rank his 5 best seasons in the league then? I don't think this will be his best season unless he pulls off the same act as last year in Game 6 of the ECF in the Game 7 and then goes on to dominate the Spurs. I don't think it is likely though, at all.

I said he's been very good, so clearly I'm not talking about Wade.

As of now, I'm debating between 2013 and 2009. If Lebron continues to disappoint in the post-season then I will put him below 2009. If he starts to step it up, I might put him at #1.

As of now, this is my top 5.

2012
2009/2013
2013/2009
2010
2011

How has he disappointed in the playoffs?

If you told me D Wade would average 14/5/5 in the playoffs and Bosh would average 13/6, I would tell you that Miami wouldn't stand a chance against Indiana. Even Peak MJ wouldn't get this team to the finals if those are his 2nd and 3rd options.

Skills, impact and production. To me this year hes easily been the most complete hes ever been. Hes just as good defensively as last year but hes better offensively than he was last year.
Ppl are underrating his 13 playoffs. If the Heat beat the pacers and then win the finals with wade and bosh playing like they've been Lebron would have won a title with CHRIS ANDERSON as his best player per minute in the playoffs. CHRIS ANDERSON!!!!!! The only argument for Bosh is that he played more minutes UD has been more important

Disappointed might not be the best word for it, but it is certainly not one of his better post-seasons. I do feel like he could be more aggressive out there. He seems too passive especially with all the 1 on 1 matchups he is getting. He is also now starting to settle for jumpers in this series. He needs to get back in the post like he did in Game 3.

Like I have been saying all along, this season has lots of parallels to the 2010 season, where he stepped down the defensive intensity and also didn't perform as well in the post-season compared to the season before.

I agree with this. Although, at the same time, you would think someone on the Heat would eventually hit an open shot.
D Whistle and Bosh are the worst 2nd and 3rd options I have ever seen from a title contender. Just utter garbage this postseason. Atleast his teammates in Cleveland specialized in something other than scoring so when they weren't hitting shots they could fall back onto that. If Bosh isn't hitting shots, he is useless. Wade can play defense, but he is a liability on offense because he can't stretch the floor, can't shoot, can't finish.
I know this would never happen, but amnestying Wade would be the best possible off-season move the Heat could make.
