After we trade for Bargnani, we could just send him out to work with Hakeem in the summer.

His career efficiency numbers are almost the same as Melo's.

Does Olajuwon help guys with a vagina grow a penis? If so then sure.

If it was that easy every big would have gone to him, Olajuwon would be one of the richest men in America and the game would be dominated by low post players.

Or maybe you were asleep when you saw him be the type of player some of you are saying he can be? The freakin guy can't handle Toronto media, you think he's going to be able to handle the NY media? He shies away from physical play and he's supposed to be some answer against the Pacers? They might as well just play Novak...at least Novak can still hit the things that some of you are fantasizing that Bargnani is supposed to be able to hit.

Couldn't have said it better.

You're way in over your head with this one kid.

One guy has more potential, more defensive capablities, and less of an injury history

The other guy has bad knees and has never been known as a sterling defender.

There's literally no reason to want Eric Gordon over Rudy Gay.

then why would i want two inefficient scorers?

You aren't making the case, you're killing it.

if you have an inefficient scorer you need to match him with one can be more efficient or at least be a different type of threat.

Both dudes prefer the same shots.

2 of the biggest reasons the Knicks were bounced by the Pacers was becayse of the lack of REBOUNDING and TOUGHNESS (mental and physical). A soft 7 footer that shies away from criticism and physical play and who is one of the worst per minute rebounding front court players in the game is NOT what this team needs. Like I said, if the goal is to pull Hibbert then just play Novak at C. Yes...the reason that that sounds silly (and it does) is why it would sound silly if it was Bargnani in its place.

Yes, if they included someone like Amir Johnson (and no reason for them to at all) then it would make sense for NY...because they would actually then have a real viable optionin the front court in Johnson who is the type of energy, athletic, dirty working, physical, rebound enabled front court guy that they need).

they can if they actually watched both players career which obviously you havent.

if all you can say is injuries that he has recovered from then there is no debate from your end.

Dude, their shooting percentages are almost identical

The get to the line the same amount (Gordon one more attempt per game)

More rebounding from Gay, More passing from Gordon

Rudy averages almost a block/game

They are very similar players. One of them just does this all at 6'9" and the other guy isn't guaranteed to be on the floor.

There is nothing to prove EG cannot get on the floor he played the entire second half od the season once he recovered.

A shooting guard would compliment melo more than a melo clone, whom is just as inefficient as he is.

Gay should average more boards he's a forward no different than EG getting more assists.

No player is guaranteed floor time, just a season agao Rudy was shut down from a shoulder injury, and ironically he hasn't shot well since, but i guess that wouldn't be a factor.

If you're an NBA GM and I told you that you could get a 7-foot-tall former first overall draft pick who averaged 21 points per game two seasons ago for next to nothing, would you be interested? Of course you would! Andrea Bargnani has had seven illustrious seasons in Toronto but I need to give this franchise a fresh start and I want to give Andrea a good home so he can flourish and live up to his unlimited potential. I want what's best for Andrea, so as long as your offer works under the Collective Bargaining Agreement (and it doesn't include Kendrick Perkins), we've got a deal! If you need to boost your offense -- who doesn't need more offense? -- and you're a General Manager for any of the other 29 NBA franchises, you know how to get a hold of me.
