we're up 5-0 that early...and sit waiting the whole game to get caught.
now we have to muster up offense when we haven't done so in 5 innings.

eff this team.
they're so frustrating it can make me explode.

btw:
can't watch...im in st. louis in the middle of a storm/ a tornado.
drove down here for a Cards game w/ my pap....got a tornado...cant get a good enough signal to stream a game.

i blame those 2.

bidding against ourselves to give brandon league 21 million base salary for the next 3 years plus incentives... brilliant.
letting kevin gregg walk out of ST when he was lights out, even better.
boasting about having 8 starters, and not trading any of them early for relief pitchers and start the season with 2 starters sitting out there in LF and eating up roster spot while being useless thus abusing our very thin relief pitching early on, a stroke of genius.
getting stuck with pitchers and panic into trading harang away for a 3rd catcher plus all of harang's remaining salary, then watch him throw a 9 inning shutout for the mariners, priceless.

same size and frame, both righties, both suck with identical WHIP,ERA, ERA +, no upgrade there. 1.7 range of WHIPs are what early retirements are made of

so ryu is hurt and now we get to see magill pitch a mile high from sea level.

how much of this is ryu actually being hurt, versus the dodger brass trying to insulate our breaking ball dependent rookie away from losing his confidence in breaking ball pitchers' tomb that is coors? i like magill getting another shot tho. we need another righty in our rotation, magill is a fastball pitcher, and used to pitching in high altitude of Albuquerque, New Mexico. hope magill can show up today and push caps or lilly to the pen...

damn it even before i got to finish this post, magill gives up a HR. looks like a beginning of another long afternoon.

what a throw. tim federowicz showing why he's a good defensive catcher with that bullet to the second. carlos gonzalez had a great jump and got tagged out with a perfect throw.
