Bargs and Demar for Love is pretty funny stuff. I hope Masai pulls trades like that off lol. And Perkins looked damn awful. I would rather retain Bargs and the right to amnesty him then add Perkins.

If the Raps are still interested in Pau, the only way I see it working for us is if you include some quality players. Our FO won't deal Pau unless it's for smaller contracts that end at the same time or a star, because they feel we can renounce Pau & Kobe's rights & sign a star next offseason. Obviously Lowry, Derozan, Bargs would be a homerun for us, the lowest I'd be willing to settle for is Lowry, Ross, Bargs. Doubt either team does it as it commits our space to roleplayers, albeit good ones, & the raps aren't 1 piece away from contending like you would ideally be when trading for Pau.

I haven't really made any transaction ideas but how about Kevin Love and Luke Ridnour for Bargnani, Ross and Acy.

PG: Lowry, Ridnour
SG: DeRozan, [FA]
SF: Gay, Fields
PF: Love, Amir
C: Valanicunas, [FA]

I like that team a lot, and depending on those back-ups for C and SG, it looks pretty solid.

This is a pipe dream I know...

Amir
Gay
Derozan

to

Washington:
Emeka Okafor
Trevor Ariza
Jan Vesely
Singleton
#3 pick

Select Ben Mclemore

then trade Bargnani for Camby/Richardson/White/#24

Val
Oak
Ariza
Mclemore
Lowry

great tanking team for Wiggins. Mclemore has star potential. a Big 3 of Val/Wiggins/Mclemore would be amazing.
2016 GMAT Blazers

Howard/Nene/
Griffin/M.Leonard/T.Jones
Porter/Marc.Morris/J.Johnson
McCollum/Stauskas/Thompson/Seldon
Lillard/Bayless/DeColo

Washington navigated a different path to the No. 3 pick this time, needing luck to vault from the eighth slot in last week’s draft lottery. But Wall again is poised to welcome another highly touted young player to the fold.

“I don’t know,” Wall said of his hopes for the pick during a Red Bull-sponsored event at Gallaudet University on Saturday night. “It’s up in the air right now. I feel like we need a four man that can pick and pop, so we’ll just see.”

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wiz%20...%20no-3-pick/

Could Washington be a possible destination for Bargnani?

Maybe a Bargnani for Nene or Okafor... I could see it work.

Ujiri really liked Nene, but he felt the need to get younger in that trade for McGee, when he dealt Nene to Washington. He talked highly about Nene and how it was difficult to deal him. In Toronto, we can use a guy with Nene's experience and size/ability at the 4 beside JV.

Okafor would be a good fit as well. With his toughness and D in the front court, the overall team defence would improve.

Washington explores both options because Nene and Okafor are both bigs who operate around the post. The rest of the team isnt great at shooting... Beal is their only 3 point threat. Having Bargnani opens up the floor for Wall to operate. They might give up Nene for Bargnani to cut Nene's deal shorter, while seeing if the Bargnani experiment works beside Wall/Beal/Okafor. Okafor is the kind of big Bargnani needs.

Hmm, Nene for Bargnani.

I think Washington might actually consider that, as Nene is also coming off a down year, and has a bigger and longer contract than Bargs. In terms of roster fit, something like Wall, Beal, Porter*, Bargnani, and Okafor would be pretty interesting as a group. Washington needs more shooting and scoring, and Bargnani has the potential to provide that for them.

That id do. Based on my calculations that would save Washington 16,750,000 and I actually think Nene would really do well in our lineup. He's athletic if we decide to run, he rebounds, plays in the post and can play defense/block shots.

Where did you get that Ujiri really liked him? I thought it was the opposite.

Ujiri is the one who scouted Nene for DEN back when he was a scout for them.

I'd make the Bargnani-for-Nene trade too.

He also talked about the deal on "The Association" when they followed the Nuggets. They showed the whole process of Denver acquiring McGee for Nene at the deadline. After the deal, he talked about how he really liked Nene and it was difficult to deal him, but they needed to get younger.

Well if Ujiri would pull the trigger I love it. Don't know if that would be his only move but

Kyle Lowry / PG (MLE)
Demar Derozan / Terrence Ross
Rudy Gay / Landry Fields
Nene / Amir Johnson / Quincy Acy
Jonas Val / Aaron Gray

Is a team I really like actually. I would love to try to buy a 2nd round pick and draft Kabongo.

don't understand the obsession with older players past their prime making tons of money who are always injured. First Amare, now Nene

This team is not as close as people think. Trading Bargnani for another contract just sets us back further. The fastest way to legitimacy is a complete tear down in my opinion.

i would do this, but i can't see how OKC happily would .. you never know .. maybe he can work for them there .. i doubt it though

What would it take to obtain Josh Smith? I'm curious to see what you guys think

I wouldn't be willing to take both of them. I like them individually, but not together. And JV is virtually untouchable.

i really think a deal of.

To Toronto: Derrick Williams + JJ Berea + Malcom Lee + #26
To Minnesota: Andrea Bargnani + Terrence Ross

makes a lot of sense for both teams. Its not ideal for me as id like to keep Ross (if we could do the deal without him (they keep the pick & Lee) id jump for joy)

The money is about the same for both.

Minnesota gets a SG they sorely lack and who fits beside Rubio nicely. Bargnani provides offense off the bench for them and both players add scoring from the perimeter which they need.

Toronto takes a chance on Derrick Williams, they get into the draft this year and Ujiri is typically a good drafter late in rounds. We get a backup PG for Lowry as well.

Kyle Lowry / Jj Berea
Demar Derozan / SG / Malcom Lee
Rudy Gay / Landry Fields
Amir Johnson / Derrick Williams / Quincy Acy
Jonas Val / Aaron Gray
