this is what i want to kno, because he was red hot down the stretch of the season and would be a much better option over ray

i think it's just spo being stubborn and trusting in ray's career numbers

Ray has been exposed in the past two series. Chicago and Indiana are just too young and too athletic on the perimeter. Ray can't shake loose and he can't defend on the other end.

Sam Young blew by him off the dribble for a baseline dunk. That is the one and only time that will ever happen in Sam Young's NBA career.

We need less Ray. His shooting is bad, his defense is terrible, and his passing is worst of all.

Ray was actually good defensively against Paul George in game 5...

I love MM as much as the next guy but the dude can't take an open shot without hurting something. Still, I fail to see what Ray has given us this series that MM couldn't for a few minutes.

WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING HIM IN THE BENCH THEN...............sorry caps........play miller...if he gets hurt then sit him down..............I agree with the other poster that said.............miller brings the same as ray plus reboundng.......

Play miller maybe he doesnt get hurt and we can finnally end the series.

the heat and the 3 pointer is nonexistent...............we cannot beat the spurs shooting like this............we need someone to get hot to get to the other level................

Right now its the king and a bunch of nobodies....................wade is hurt..............i understand that..............its the way he plays.....................Bosh needs to step up in this game drive in a get hibbert in foul trouble.....

Chalmers no stupid fouls please....

battier is nonexistent...he is going to get on fire one game youll see......hopefully this year...........but the pacers are one of the better teams covering the 3 point.

Lebron hasnt disapointed yet...had it not been for him and the series would be over.

It took some screaming from the king to get these scrubs to play like men..........................pathetic....

every single heat player need to man up and help the king win another title..

double hibbert and west everytime and let them take the 3s..........................I can live with the 3s............there is a better chance of missing the 3 as opposed to the 5 foot shot from hibbert and west...

We need an all out effort to end it tonight..............................because game 7 spells trouble.

Pacers starting 5 have outplayed Heat starting 5. Need more spacing and ball movement. Best +/-

Miller definitely needs more minutes over Ray for game 7. But i get the feeling that Mr. Spobot will keep playing Ray even though it's hurting the team more. At least Miller can get a few rebounds and hit a few open three's. Ray is a defensive liability, can't knock down his open shots, and he's now missing FT's.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation

How about no more Allen and more Miller? Allen has brought NOTHING to do the table for Miami in this round. No defense, no scoring, nothing. Time to bench him and roll with the guy whos actually scoring and battling for boards even though hes beat up.

Allen's got no business being on the floor. He's been awful. The only problem is that our starting 2-guard has been even worse.

We need more Ray on the bench. He has one job, hit open 3's. He's not doing that well, so sit his ass down. Don't know why it took 6 games for Spo to finally put Miller in for him.

Ray play okay defense on PG. His shot aren’t falling, but the Pacers defender still has to stay close to him. I also like that Ray make quick decision with the ball when he touches it.

Who is Mike Miller going to guard?

Mike Miller is making open three until the Pacers defense adjust.

I think Ray has played good defense on PG and that's what has kept him on the floor. Plus unlike Wade he is slashing to the basket...which is weird.

But Mike Miller brings all of that and more. Miller looked really good defensively last night on Hibbert and West with our doubles. And he's one of the best wing defenders on our roster.

I kind of wish Spo had played a little more with our roster in the series. But it's tough because we never trailed in the series--so there was never a need to overcorrect. And you can't do that in a game 7.

But Rashard Lewis would have given us more length defensively than Battier, and he's a more versatile offensive player. Giving Battier's minutes to Lewis and Allen's minutes to Miller might have changed the series.

You guys should read some of our Ray Allen threads during our playoff run in spring 2012. Deja vu all over again.

Agree totally. Miller looks healthy and is helping to defend West well. Plus, he can hit 3s.
Also wouldn't mind giving Lewis some PT, he is taller and plays well at the end of the season when he is on the floor.
Some of the players like Ray and Battier look tired and that can explain why they miss shots. Same for Bosh - he lost his legs from pushing against Hibbert and that affects his jumpers.

Ray is not playing good defense on PG, why do some people keep saying that?? He gets blown by often, and even if someone rotates to cover up that weakness, it causes people like West and Hibbert to get easy post position and putbacks. Ray does not have the tools to be a good defender, and PG has gone off so many times on him this series.

We need our shooters to hit their shots. I couldn't care less who does it.

We can't win without Wade and Bosh and all our shooters all at once ... and at this point I have no faith in Wade and Bosh to show up for game 7.
