As long as we win, that's cool. Otherwise, I'm blaming you.

Good, I don't have to blame spykelee for no reason. The Jays also ended up with the better run differential in this series somehow.

@Wilnerness590

John Gibbons stupidity puts his best possible defense out for the 11th.
I see why so many Jays fans want him fired.

Speaking of that...I've been experiencing a dilemma about whether to take my sig off. Colangelo has seemingly been removed of all responsibilities of any kind, but he's still in the organization. I could go either way with this, but I can't imagine he'll stay long in this business-oriented role he's in.

Take it down.

1. he's effectively gone

2. the actual firing will be a minor event at this point (plus he's just going to leave on his own anyway)

Isnt Colangelos new job to teach those Western Canadian Blue Jay fans to be Raptors fans as well?
We will see the next time the Raps are in Sacramento I guess

Do we have any pitchers left to get hurt? If Buerle or Dickey ever go down with an injury then I'll know for sure someone has a hex on our pitching staff or some voodoo stuff is going on. Poor Ramon.
That's what she said.

The guy replacing all the guys who've had their arm fall off has his arm fall off.

Lind goes 3 for 6, raising his team-leading average and OPS to .323/.937.

JPK goes a clutch 0 for 5 with another 4Ks, but his BB:K ratio actually increases on the season because he also takes a single walk.

The bullpen pitches 9 innings of 2-hit relief.

BTW, did anyone notice Adam Lind is being trolled at Yahoo sports... check out how his name is spelled: http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7859
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I think they tried that in Spring Training, and he failed horrible. Rather have Miguel Batista up at this point, seasons done anyways.

No you don't not really. MB sucks royally. Jenkins will be back June 10, I believe, Johnson is back this week (for better or worse). The Dickey, Buerhle and Rogers. That's do-able this week, with two off days. Late next week, Morrow should return. I'd like to see Buffalo stretch out Stilson. He's pitched well enough in 1-2 inning relief stints, but has a starter background, and there is no obvious need for him in Toronto to be a reliever. AA has focussed so much on bringing McGowan back as something, anything, that Stilson has taken a back seat at Buffalo.

I was disappointed to see Stilson come back out of the pen, however it's more likely that it means the organization has decided that his shoulder won't hold up as a starter with his max effort delivery.

It was always seen as the more realistic outcome that he would eventually need to be converted to a reliever.

Just leave him where he is. With the way Janssen's shoulder is and the fact that he could very well be trade bait, we actually need Cecil at the back end of the bullpen. He could very well become the team's closer if/when Casey goes down.
