Not sure how much you can take away from this game, but at least it was nice to see Loftus-Cheek and Christensen play well.

Yeah, lets just agree that it didn't happen.

In other news, Coentrao to Chelsea at a cut price looks possible if we get Jose. That would be quite the coup. He's a great LB, and does a job at left mid/forward too when the team needs to do a 'Bertrand' like in the CL final last year. 30m Euros just 2 years ago to Real, so anything less than 2/3 of that would be fantastic business. Still very young too.

Can't complain if it's only for 18M euros, but I really want Shaw..

We are being linked with so many of Jorge Mendes's clients, and most of them have to be fake

Yeah its called silly season for a reason. Thing is, the season has barely ended... I thought I'd be able to believe the news for at least another week or so!

I love Shaw. Saw him in person this year and he looks fantastic. Great positional awareness for a kid, which allows him to make some spectacular interceptions. Just wary of his lack of experience. If we have him and Bertrand in 2014, assuming Cole goes, I'd be a bit jittery playing the big boys.

Loftus Cheek is having a really good game. Unfortunately our Brazilian players couldn't care less :lol:

I think Coentrao would be a good signing, but I'm with 5DOM. If I want a left sided player it's definitely Shaw, just plays way above his age. Fantastic prospect

Glad Loftus-Cheek is getting some games, seems a top player in the making too

Same. IF it's true that he wants to sell Luiz, I'd be sad to see him go, but will trust Jose's judgment.
