It supposedly takes about 18 months, according to the league, to change a team name.

Perhaps they're trying to make a decision on this by the coming winter, which would allow the newly named Raptors to debut with the 2015-16 season -- just in time for the all-star game that Leiweke has openly coveted.

They should go with something simple yet classy like a soccer jersey. Either "Raptors" or "Toronto" across the middle with a small crest/logo on one side of the chest.

20th anniversary is the 95/96th season, which the new jerseys will be introduced not 94/95

That may be true, but don't know why TL would mention in 3 years prior if he wanted it for 2015-2016. If he has already alerted the league it would be ready for for next season in time for Wiggins. Enough buzz to create that All-Star Weekend environment.

We seen it with LeBron going to Cavs, Kyrie going to Cavs, Melo to the Nuggets. They got their franchise player and changing their uniforms. I'd expect the same!

Those Home Uni's are really nice! I'd buy one if they looked like that!

I don't mind aspects of the design but that Raptor logo is horrific. Looks like a brontosaurus, but more importantly it looks like something Kraft would throw on some lunch snacks and less like something I'd want to put on my hat.

Doesn't even look like a raptor. It looks like that vegetarian dinosaur with a long neck. The name is currently phasing me...

I remember reading somewhere that Dallas had asked Sean John to design one of their jerseys.

I would love it if we had Louis Vuitton design ours! But i have a feeling prices of jerseys would jump over 400% lol.
