If he loses tonight, because he's lost many times before in similarly disappointing fashions, he wont crack my top 10. His past failures are well documented, and so I felt no reason to mention that in addition to losing to a 49 win Pacers team, his failures in season past which include loses to the Mavericks and Magic will contribute to his elimination from the holy tier of basketball excellence. Well, Mine at least, but forgive me, I thought it obvious.

So if he goes for 80 points, on 78% shooting, and the Pacers win? i'm sorry, only using wins and losses to rank someone's greatness might be obvious to you, I like to actually judge how someone plays basketball.

He won't go for 80 points on 78% shooting, not that I care to argue for or against exaggerated hypotheticals. Sparring strawmen is an exercise in futility, and boring to boot. In any case, how LBJ plays basketball; his ball dominance and inability to function in a role other than point forward has contributed to Miami's struggles with Indiana, as well he and his teams struggles against others that have served him early exits.

This verticality rule is getting ridiculous. It's never been called this way before - not since the 80s, at least.

Also, Lebron's been pretty lax on D so far. My guess is it's because he knows he's playing 45+ minutes. And thank GOD, Ray Allen is showing up for once.

I'm surprised Lebron's sitting at all. Didn't expect that, I figured he'd go all 48
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

Same, I posted that just before he came out. I expected maybe a very short rest late in the third if the Heat had a cushion.

This game is very similar to Game 7 of the Knicks and Bulls in '92. Ewing called for a bunch of fouls and the Bulls blow them out. The only difference is that the Heat are quite overrated in terms of all-time great teams. They wouldn't beat the Lakers of the '80s or '00s or the '80s Celtics or Kareem's Bucks.

Then please elaborate who is in your Top 10

Kevin Durant replaces him in the top 10
