Trade Offer
Is Monta Ellis for your 14th pick and Marvin Williams a trade you'd take?

What about Jennings? You get your PG of the future and the Bucks get your pick.

I don't think I like the future where Jennings is the PGOTF.

Re: Trade Offer
Seriously guys? Jennings and Monta are both better players than anyone at 14 in this draft. I'm not crazy about either player, but they are certainly better players unless someone totally shocks the world.

Re: Trade Offer
While they may be better, they can get the team saddled with long contracts they will want to get rid of. I'd rather have a bust that's easy to get rid of than a long term rotation guy with bad trade value.

Re: Trade Offer
I like Monta, but he's not the pg we're looking for. I actually like Burks on the floor almost as much as Monta. Burks is a two-way player.
I'm sure the Jazz would take a look at Jennings, but a shoot-first PG isn't a big priority.

Re: Trade Offer
In a good draft we would take on Monta for his final year if you gave us your 15th pick.... but you propose Monta as if he were a desirable player... which he is not. Advance statistics have taken over the league and he has some of the worst stats in the league.
Very few players are less efficient.

Re: Trade Offer
not interested in the fighting, but I will say that once again simply watching a whole lot of basketball games is all I need to know I'm not interested in either Jennings or Ellis unless the price is dirt dirt cheap. No complicated convoluted subjective stats needed.StocktonShorts wrote:blackham9258 wrote: Advance statistics have taken over the league
