Why does Houston dump their 1st round pick from last year? Because it's Royce White, that's why.

He's gotten a bum rap. I think putting him around veterans like Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Rajon Rondo and a head coach like Doc Rivers will do wonders for him.

Houston cuts salary and we like some of the guys available at #10. Will Barton is the kind of hyper-athletic wing guy every team needs. Good dealing!

We feel Asik will be better than anything at #10. Asik who is a great rim protector (8th in blocks) and rebounder (4th in the league) and is a near perfect fit next to LMA. Barton is a nice player but feel he can be replaced.

Detroit Pistons in: Kobe Bryant

Detroit has enough cap space to absorb Kobe outright.

While it's sad to see the face of the Lakers for such a long time depart, the recent injury will hamper his ability to take the Lakers far in his last season, and at $30 million, he's got quite the salary. Getting back a rough prospect in Middleton with the #13 pick and LAC's 2nd rounder while clearing some cap space allows LAL more flexibility to accomplish the goals we need to this season.

Why?
I can't resist. He is my favorite player, and STILL the best SG in the NBA. There is no one, I repeat, NO ONE in this draft that will ever be as good as Kobe, or even on his level, EVEN at this age. Worst case? He expires next year and I have all my cap back. Knight and Kobe are actually a nice fit together. We still have nearly max cap after this deal as well. Good dealing JordanL

Washington Accepts, tough to give up the 3rd pick but like leonard and duncan lets us compete right now, good dealing Spurs!

Spurs accept. Duncan, while being the franchise anchor for such a long time, is getting a bit long in the tooth and has a longer contract. Leonard is a good piece but such is the price for the #3 pick. This should accelerate the retool/rebuild a bit.

Okafor is a good rental for his shotblocking/defensive presence and also represents an asset that could be moved down the road.
