Again, pretty normal. You always have a few allies that are going to save your butt & a few detractors that want you gone.
They don't hate the guy & they think he has some very good strengths, so instead of outright getting rid of him, let's put him in a role that we think he'll excel at.
Yeah it's normal, but I want to stop half halfing. If it's 4 - 2 go full bore in the 4 direction, not a little bit in the other. Maybe this isn't the best example of that - waiting so long to decide on BC is more of an example of my frustration, or only giving him a few years if some board members weren't sold. Those things have ramifications.
It was one of the things i least liked about BC too, was that he did a little this and little that, if we did have a Euro movement, it wasn't full bore. We went youth, but didn't go full bore either. We went up tempo, yet were led by Jose? We brought in Hedo even, and never let him play on the ball. Stuff like that always frustrated me. Along with the Ego. Liked the swagger, but hated the look and result when the he was under fire, and wished he would have brought in a top tier coach during his time with Raps.
