If he just publically said 'tank', we are going to be blowing up this team.

TL and Masai already discussed the vision and they both agreed on it. He is being politically correct by saying "it will be Masai's decision and I will support him".

Amazing news!!

Edit: We don't have the pieces for a Carmelo trade & the quick rebuild on the fly never works

He said we have 3 directions:

Rebuild and then he specifically said "tank it".

A major trade.

A combination of both. "rebuilding on the fly".

Ujiri is deciding which way to go.

Thanks for that. Kicking myself that I missed the interview.

Does anyone have a rundown of when TL and MU are going to be doing radio appearances?

He also said that Option 1 ("tank") requires not just 1 pick in the 2014 draft, but multiple picks. So lets see how that plays out.. think anyone's gonna give up their 2014 pick for any of our players?

If TL said the word tank in public, he is my favorite exec ever.

Do the right thing, Masai.

Absolutely love Lieweke. Love the way this guy thinks. Love his leadership.

Best thing to happen to the Raps in a long long time.

Leiweke comes off more personable and authentic in 5 minutes than Colangelo did in 7 years combined.

Tank or not will depend on whether MU can find trading partners for picks, imo.

Leiweke interview was more insightful than the MU presser. Lot's of juicy info there!

So after hearing things thus far I get the impression that we'll be upgrading the bench with young talent and the one major trade will be Bargs.

I didn't get the tank impression from MU, seems he does like some of the pieces (I'm guessing the starters).

We'll see how this all shakes down as the moves comes through but if the above happens, I'd be good with that for now as a start and see how things progress.

A lot of us speculated that BC was messing with Casey & it affected Casey's performance in year 2. Glad to hear it confirmed.

People loved DC his first year. Let's hope we see real Dwayne Casey again.

This Leiweke dude seems to open to the idea of tanking though.

So basically regardless of what happens, this team is in for a serious shake up, basically acknowledging that this current lineup will not suffice, I'm starting to like the dynamic duo of TL and MU more and more each day, but I'll temper my expectations until we see a few trades go down and we have a clearer picture of where this team is headed.

So now we know if Ujiri wants to blow it up and "tank" and not make the playoffs for 2 or 3 years, TL would be all for it.
