WTF man, oladipo is so full of BS in every interview I heard he obviously talks out of his behind and gives some fake answers that apparently he thinks is what people want to hear.

I like him as a player but his interviews are a joke.

BTW per insiders "the Suns absolutely love McLemore" and "really like what they saw in Shabazz". Notice they listed Shabazz as a SF at 6'6 and 6'11 wingspan.

What insiders would that be?

Yeah maybe. At this point I just want this crap to be over. Annoying, cyclical discussion.

Mac isn't falling past Orlando, IMO. We might be 'in love' but it probably won't matter.

He is though, he has connections to the organization, dont care if you believe it or not. I know these people on ASFN since 1999/2000 when it was still on another site.

Just watched all the day 2 interviews from the suns website and they all seem like good kids with thier heads screwed on. Would be happy with Mclemore, Oladipo or Shabazz.

I have a feeling Orlando will take Oladipo. And I am afraid freakin` Minny will trade up for Hornets` pick and pick McLemore just before us.

If that happens I`d be content with picking Shabazz. I really like what I hear from him this days.

And I am curious to see if McD and Hornacek invite Steve Adams for a workout.

What does Minny have that Charlotte wants? They aren't giving up Love or Rubio. Is D-Will worth the #4 pick?

D-Will would be a nice fit alongside Kidd-Gilchrist and Biyombo, imho.

However, I wholeheartedly hope you are right and MJ rejects Wolves and pick Bennett. That would surely means one of McLemore or Oladipo coming to the Valley.

My draft board as of now:
1. McLemore
2. Oladipo
3. Shabazz
4. McCollum

D-Will just signed with Brooklyn last summer. After all they have up to get him, there's no chance that the Russian billionaire will give us D-Will no matter what we offer them.

So this mock draft from Ford caught me off guard:

Cavs: Noel
Magic: Oladipo
Wizards: Porter
Bobcats: Bennett
Suns: McLemore

I'm only posting his comments for why Charlotte may go with Bennett as opposed to McLemore (and the Suns')

Charlotte Bobcats: Anthony Bennett

Analysis: Truthfully, the Bobcats need help at the 2, the 4 and the 5. I think this will come down to a choice between Ben McLemore, Bennett and Len. All three players are young and blessed with incredible upside. Sources say Bennett might have the edge right now for two reasons. First, the Bobcats have been completely devoid of frontcourt scoring and Bennett's ability to score both inside and outside is appealing.

Second, the Bobcats front office (like a lot of NBA front offices) has questions right now about McLemore's mental approach to the game. Does he have the aggressiveness he needs to maximize his potential? Those questions are growing louder the closer we get to the draft. As for Len, the questions about his foot loom large as does the fact that he'd miss Summer League -- a critical development period for young players.

Phoenix Suns - Ben McLemore

Analysis: The Suns are another team that could go in just about any direction. Phoenix lacks young building blocks. But its biggest need might be a scorer in the backcourt. If McLemore is still on the board here, he'll be hard to pass up. He's one of the few players with All-Star upside. But don't count out Lehigh's C.J. McCollum either. McCollum is a better scorer and can play two positions on the floor.

I have been saying it, and I will say it again; that guy is a mental midget!! Give me Zeller if you are afraid of Len's foot and Mclemore's emotional stability. He has not half of what Beasley has, and look how mental weakness has destroyed Beasley and Wes. No can do bruh!

Didn't people say last year that Jeremy Lamb was mentally weak and that he's too soft and such? Same with Joe Johnson when was coming into this league?

They are not cyclical discussions, they are fluid....which means ever changing. We as fans are high and low on players all the way up until this draft. Once McCollum was high for me (3days), then Bennett (5days), I am starting to like Shabazz again as some others...Zeller had a one day run, I am up and down on Len...Burke was my favorite once.... Get the point? We are trying to figure out who we'd feel best about outside of Oladipo and who we may end up with (best guess). That's why they have "cyclical" mock drafts on every site.

We hear news on players background, injuries, POV's, other teams' feelings et al. Draft stock rise and fall daily because of workouts and attitude of players. We brainstorm all types of ideas in here.....Get a grip and enjoy the ride or put yourself in a self-induced coma and come out June 27th. Just call our discussions annoying and cyclical. :D

Lamb got draft at 12 or 13, not five, plus he hasn't proved or disproved anything so far in his short career. I don't know what they said about JJ coming out, I wasn't that much into basketball at that time. But, there is a difference between being a quiet assassin (Barry Sanders) and a non-aggressive individual. He scares me is all, but I wouldn't have a hissy if we drafted him, I'd just hope that I was wrong.

As with anything, you want to draft the player with the lowest amount of negative variables (or questions).... We could definitely be wrong, most of the times we (NBA GMs included) normally are, for better or worse.

Nice, but we need to hear about Wash and Char being high on Bennett and Porter...then we are set.

Why isn't Alex Len higher on draft boards, and could he be an all star one day?

Chad Ford
The foot. I honestly believe that had his foot been OK, he would've gotten serious consideration for No. 1. Still might, the Cavs really like him. Bobcats are another team that could take him in the Top 5. They like him and Anthony Bennett a lot at No. 4.

And Porter to Washington is a lock IMO. It just makes too much sense.

I agree. Thanks for that update..... So I'm penciling in Oladipo!! 70 percent chance!! Lets get Zeller at 10 or Adams at 12 (using 30 and or Gortat/ Dudley).

The way MJ has been semi-whiffing on his picks, I can't see him selecting Bennet. He needs a sure thing. Bennet, with no work outs, remains an enigma to an extent. Len and Noel too, but not nearly as much.

Odd that 3 of the likely top ten picks will not be working out for anyone.

Burke and Bennet are our wildcards. One of them has to go in the top 4 for us to land McLem or 'Dipo
What ? Me Worry ?
