Ahhh. I thought that was just a preferred option to taking Taylor, not a precursor to it. I like Taylor in the early 2nd, but it doesn't look like he will fall that far.

I think we would need #28 from OKC to take him at latest. Pretty sure Chicago snags him at #29 unless somebody big slips further. If i take a PG (non Lillard/Rivers*) i want Taylor. I know he isn't thought of as the higher ranked PG but ive done a ton of research on all these guys, and he has more to offer IMO then Marshall,Teague etc.

If you are the Magic, who do you draft with that pick. If it's #4 or 5 I would like to see Lillard. If it happens, who would you like to see the Magic take with the pick?

I would take Drummond, but I'm very high on Lillard also. Lillard is the safer pick, he's going to be a real good player. I take Drummond because he have the potential to be great with his physical attributes.

How is Jerome James relevant to anything? He was a second round pick and a big stiff.

The two have similar dimensions. Jerome James was a beast in one playoff series in Seattle, and didn't produce much more after that. I can see Drummond being similar---mechanical offense and untapped potential. I think he's going to bust.

Lot of PJIII lovers in here, he still might end up good. I only read back a few pages.

I remember I wanted Kendall Marshall, I still do. I absolutely didn't want us to draft Harkless, glad I was wrong.

Didn't know anything about Nicholson lol, thought he was a projected 2nd round pick.

Yeah I usually agree with Cig, but wtf? Jerome James and Drummond? James is a fat useless piece of crap. Drummond is at least a crazy good athlete.

Yeah I posted about this in another thread. I'm impressed that alot of us, especially Nooks recognized Lillard being a very good player. Not suprised everyone like PJ3 considering his skillset. I was on the Harkless train, but also liked Teague, Lillard, and Taylor coming out of that draft.

I hope I'm not one of those "What was I thinking?" people when reading back on the 2013 thread.
