Can flat out shoot the ball.

I've been trying to find out more info about this kid for months. Great shot. If he lasts till the 2nd he'd be a great stash pick. From what I read he is supposed to be better than Fernandez

Is it me, or does Gobert look terrible? He's big but looks uncoordinated and fragile.

Gobert will be a footnote in an article about some random GM being fired in a few years.

The 2013 version of Alexis Ajinca.

I was high on him before the season started & then there was a Youtube video I spotted of his & he was getting pretty abused on defense. Just slow footed & didn't know where to be on defense.

He is def mobile for a big man, but moving his feet on D just seemed extremely slow to me. Just one video though.

Over time, Gobert would be a decent back up center in the NBA. There will be a learning curve for him coming into the NBA, but the right coaches could help him a lot. He's going to be such a great lob target for ball handlers in the pick n roll, and his shot blocking should transfer to the NBA considering his length. I also like that he has some resemblance of a jump shot. Sure, if he goes too high, a GM could screw up. But, I think he could have a solid role in the NBA.

His jump shot is what surprised me so much at the combine. Had no idea he had that kind of touch on his shot.

Pause at 3 seconds.

Dunking like that with his little 5-10 wingspan is impressive.

CJ McCollum already worked out with us? I must have missed that.

Easier to say the Magic's top 2 are Mclemore and Oladipo in that order. Anyway I'm not sure about that, and would be shocked if they took Porter.

“Bring the ball up, control it, up-tempo, take control of the game,” McLemore told the Arizona Republic of what he can do better in the NBA. “I could've done those things at Kansas, but that's just how the Kansas system is. I was just playing Kansas basketball. Now, I have an opportunity to play free and play my own game."

"I know deep down inside I can take over games. I know I have that dog in me to take over games.”

Very interesting.. Many have said that perhaps McLemore was holding back as a freshman playing for one of the great coaches/universities and playing within Self's system. Very well could be the case. I think his game does translate a bit better to the NBA though.. way less zone, no hand-checking, and more open lanes. When you come from nothing like McLemore you just have that inner-fire. Gotta get him coached up.

I simply dont see McLemore being able to be THAT dog he is trying to say. IMO, his DOG would just be Iguodala or Gay... Good for 2nd options only.

So, if Iguodala or Gay were available at number two in this draft, considering everything else that's out there, you would pass over them and take, say, Oladipo?

That's just nuts. If McLemore has the potential to be another Iguodala, we have to grab him. Assuming Cleveland passes him by.

I do not want Porter at all. Looks like a career role player to me.

Oladipo admits he might visit Minnesota in that video posted above.

Where the heck did you get the Iggy Comp from?

Iggy is one of the better 2-3 wing play makers in the game, & struggles to shoot the ball consistently. One of the better wing defenders as well.

McLemore hasn't showed the ability to be a play maker just yet, & his biggest strength is shooting. Can McLemore even play defense at a high level, or even average level? Not sure we know that yet.

Guess they are both athletic though, so there's that.

I'm sure the Magic and Wolves will disscuss a trade (if they have't yet) , the question is whom are they willing to trade and if they'd like any of our veterans.

If CJ McCollum is still there at 9, I'd try to get something done for their #9 and #26.

I'd want more than that and Hennigan does too

I'd like Derrick Williams to be included. Possibly Shved too?

I'm not certain on the numbers but somewhere along the lines of AA, #2 and TPE (partial) for #9, #26, Williams, Shved and Ridnour? Wed be young and athletic but I still think we'd be soft on the interior defense.

Nelsom/McCollum/Ridnour
Harkless/Shved
Harris/Jones
Williams/Nicholson
Vucevic/O'Quinn
