I think with anyother center in the league not named KG or Duncan wouldnt work in miami. Your whole game plan is predicated on Bosh spreading the floor. If he stays downlow, thats 2 more bodys for james to get around (counting the opposing center as well). He is doing his job, yet he is vilified. I dont get it? Maybe I dont watch the heat enough but it seems to me he is doing exactly what he is supposed to.
The long 2>the three pointer for Bosh. He hits them at a higher rate and it's enough to spread the floor. When he hits them, it keeps the defense honest, and gives him more opportunities to drive. However, the problem really isn't him taking the 3 point shot. If he is wide open, he can try it maybe once or twice a game. Where we do have an issue is that he is camping out by the three point line in crucial late game situations. That isn't the shot we want at that time.
