I like that style of list so I'm stealing it.

@10
1. Shabazz (it is no longer rational, I know this)
2. KCP
3. McCollum
4. Adams

@39/40
1. Archie Goodwin.
2. Glen Rice Jr.
3. Pierre Jackson
4. Mouhammadou Jaiteh
5. Ricky Ledo

@45
1. Arsalan Kazemi
2. Trevor Mbakwe

Can you tell I want a wing?

I have a feeling Muscala might squeak into the first round.. Hope I'm wrong (unless we buy the pick).

Nice idea and format

1) Len
2) Adams
3) McCollum
4) Shabazz

It would be a huge get if Len fell to 10.

I really hope Glen Rice Jr. falls, he will be instant help off of the bench and is one of the best slashers in the draft + he has good upside for a 2nd rounder.

Stealing it too.

@10
1. Len (blocks shots + PnR D + good frame + rebounding + offensive potential. Unlikely that he falls though)
2. Franklin (slashing + defense + toughness/mentality + rebounding + potential)
3. Adams (see Len - offensive potential + motor)
4. McCollum (instant offense off the bench)
5. Shabazz (scorer + rebounder. knucklehead?)
6. Gobert (see Len - offensive potential)

@39/40
1a. Archie Goodwin (slashing + still only 18)
1b. Livio Jean-Charles (great role player. draft + stash him)
1c. Pierre Jackson (instant offense off the bench)
2. Glen Rice Jr. (athleticism + shooting. knucklehead?)

@45
1. Arsalan Kazemi (rebounding)
2. Trevor Mbakwe (rebounding)

Haha. Great minds think alike.

Well, there's really no one else that's interesting IMO. And we can always use rebounding.

Cody Zeller worked out for the Blazers today and is having dinner with management tonight.

So we can confirm him as being on the Blazers short list for #10.

do you guys think Portland will try to move up to 8 to grab KCP before wolves and pistons?

I think it's pretty unlikely that they move up. If he falls to Portland then great, but if he doesn't it just increases the chance that a player like Len/Zeller/McCallum falls on to the lap of Portland which I wouldn't mind at all.

I have a feeling that 2 of 3 of KCP/Shabazz/McCollum will go 8 and 9. We will likely take leftover or Zeller

I'm really warming up to him as well.. Hopefully his rocky past isn't a telling sign of how he will act once he makes the big bucks but what better city for him to focus on his game than PDX? Would be nice to see him and Willy B battling it out for minutes.

It is very likely Portland does have a group of 4-5 players identified as candidates at 10
and simply will choose whoever is left by Kings, Pistons and Wolves. After losing their
last 13 games to finish last season, they can't claim the guy they pick can't help them.

OK I could be wrong, but wasn't our new assistant Glen Rice JRs. Head coach last year?

No Nate Tibbetts was an assistant for Cleveland the last two seasons. Nick Nurse was/is the coach of the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

I like Archie Goodwin in the 2nd as well. 18, was considered a lottery pick up until a few months ago when his production dropped off. I guess you can hope that the correlation of good/bad games in the season have to do with Noel getting injured and not just having a flukey good start to the season. He can't hit the 3, but he is a quick slashing wing, has potential to get better.

Although I must admit, I'm willing to draft all the wings until we find someone that can fill this Roy sized hole in my heart (which may not be a sound strategy).

Archie Goodwin would be a great 2nd round pick up.
