^ No in a heartbeat. We love Lou, he's untouchable for us because he gave the hometown discount and he's been amazing off the court in the community. We also won't move down 20 spots in the draft to make this trade

Look at what's printed on the forehead of your avatar.

Williams is way more valuable than Ariza and the 18th is, well, it's 20 spaces ahead of the 38th. PLUS, your deal would make it even harder (almost impossible) for us to sign Dwight Howard and Chris Paul.

Maybe you meant Ariza and your 1st (3rd overall)?

Actually no I didn't.

Williams is junk to me...I was just interested in the pick.

The original trade you proposed is horrible for the Hawks. They give up the better player in Williams and the better pick, makes absolutely no sense.

#1, Lou Williams is certainly not junk. Good grief, he's a terrific player on a really good contract. Just because you don't know what you're talking about doesn't make your deal more excusable. I'm sorry to be so rude but ... wow!

#2, In what universe are Trevor Ariza and the 38th pick worth the 18th?

Ariza is a guy I'd like to have on this team. The fact he's expiring too is nice. But giving up Lou and #18 is just way too much to ask. Lou fits very nicely on this team and should be able to come back in the same capacity. Perhaps there's a deal that can be made if you guys want Smith.

Terrence Williams would be a good pick up.

Plays PG/SG/SF on both ends of the floor.

Curtis Jerrells also.

Josh Smith has agreed to a four year, $56 million deal with the Detroit Pistons, league sources tell Y! Sports.

I like Sam Young game. Can be role player behind Korver who gives hustle, defense, 3pt shot.

or are fans happy to keep him?

Seems like all sides are just treating it as purely a business move.
Fans are excited about our draft pick at PG, but acknowledge that Teague is the better player today.

Jeff Teague's contract is very manageable; he should make a nice trade chip in a couple of seasons.

Hawks have JJ again. I hope that James Johnson will improve his quickness and agility in order to defend SF position. Dude can play.
