LeBron coasts as well, even if it's not as much as other stars and LeBron has missed games too due to maintenance, so I'm sure he would've accepted what's best for the team in the long run. He may have been a regular season champ when he was younger, but from what you see as an outsider, championships seem to have become his ultimate goal, thus shifting his priorities.
And no, it's not out of character for Wade to play through injuries, he's done it before. The time he missed a larger amount of games were due to major injuries. Remember, it was Wade who came back way too early in the '07 playoffs. It was Wade who played 51 games hobbled as a result of returning to early in the 07/08 season.

Thus I'm confident to say it was Wade's decision and his alone to play through this. Aside of that, Wade has too high of a status to give in to anybody's will. Aside of the coaching staff not stopping him, it was his decision alone to play through it all, nothing else.

Again, I'm not arguing because you told the truth like a man. I'm pretty sure they're others around here who know just like you (Hardawayy, GameTime, HIF ect) but you're the only one who stood up.

Whenever you see LeBron doing an interview with Jason Jackson he's always talking about how important these stupid Regular Season games are to "getting better everyday". LeBron uses the Regular Season like Fish use water. But there's nothing wrong with that because that's who he is. But what is wrong is that LeBron dragged Wade into the Regular Season champion way of life along with him and now the price is being paid.

What truth though? I only see myself disagreeing with your notion that LeBron caused Wade to push himself more than he should have.

Yeah but Wade aggravated his injury trying to keep the streak up. LeBron is the advocate of the streak. Wade coasts and sits, that's his style. Don't talk about 07', 07's is the very reason why Wade doesn't force himself through injuries and played with body fat and bad conditioning. You have to consider LeBron's Regular Season champion pedigree in all of this.

Wade has friendly battled LeBron in free throw arc.
Wade has friendly battled Lebron in left hand finishing.
Wade has friendly battled Lebron in developing post games
Wade has friendly battled Lebron in FG%

I know you like Wade and all, but given all this history between he and Lebron, it is extremely naive to think that LeBron wanting to keep the streak alive and becoming Regular Season Champions did not influence Wade's decision to play injured. You are a man who tells the truth, don't stick your head in the sand on this one.

I agree that Wade aggravated his injury for the sake of the streak, I'm just saying it was Wade's stupidity, a man who should've known better, rather than LeBron's influence that pushed him past. LeBron has said over and over again that this team can win games without one of the Big Three, that's why I'm confident he doesn't mind Wade sitting games, especially against Cleveland. Aside of that, I'm also sure LeBron's regular season champs attitude went out of the window once he came here or, at the latest, once we lost to Dallas where he ran out of gas and realized you can't go hard all year long and still be at your best in the end.

I also don't understand what me liking Wade has anything to do with it when I'm the one putting the blame on him rather than LeBron. It's probably playing a role because I said Wade is a man of his own and not some follower, but I stick by that because I've followed the Heat and Wade long enough to know he pushes himself through stuff like this on his own. As much as the guy puts the team first, he's still a superstar and they have big egos, which means they don't let anybody tell them anything when it comes down to it, which they shouldn't.
His friendly battles with LeBron are just that. They've been good friends since they came into the league, you think they'd have fun in practice sometimes? Come on man, that can't be evidence for your point.

As for his past 07 time, he murdered himself in the summer of '08 to get in great shape and killed the Olympics and the regular season. That's evidence against your notion. He was out of shape at the start of the 09/10 season because he was tired of another year of waiting rather than him trying to protect his body. There was nothing to play for that year, it was a waiting time for everybody on the team.

But let's agree to disagree. You think LeBron pushed the team too hard and forced Wade to play in games he shouldn't have, I think Wade didn't make the rational decision and wanted to be a part of the streak rather than look at the long-term goal while the coaching staff couldn't tell him anything anyways.

Half of what you write is non-sensical, the other half is either stupid or insane.
I have no choice but to welcome you to my ignore list. There, you will join a whole bunch of people (mostly Bulls and Knicks fans) with similar types of ideas. I am sure you will feel like home amongst them and you'll make a lot of friends. Enjoy.

Well, I wasted too much time reading your posts, trying to make any sense out of them and answering, so here's what I should have done from the start:

Lol--Lebron forced Wade into "regular season mode"? Okay. Wade sucked for like half the year and had a career low in minutes played. Maybe if he HAD a regular season mode, Lebron wouldn't be tired right now.

Man. People better appreciate this guy. They'll miss him when he finally retires. We're seeing greatness at it's prime. You guys gotta stop panicking. Lebron's got this. The last two years Lebron has pretty much never failed to step up and do what we needed in our darkest moments. If there's two things I'm not worried about right now it's the heat and Lebron James.

I'll save my panick until an elimination game if we see one.

Even if we lose tomorrow the series would be far from over. I'm fairly confident the longer the series goes the less effective the Spurs will get. Game 1 is about as much energy as their old dudes are going to have.

1. The Bulls are Regular Season Champions
2. They always go into the playoffs injured because of how hard they play in the Regular Season
3. Lebron is one of these as well. 2009 66 wins in Cleavland. 2010 61 wins in Cleavland.

Now that I have said this I think you all know where I am going. Do you think Wade broke down late in the season because LeBron pushed this team too hard during the Regular Season (27 wins). I feel that Wade wanted to prove to the Locker room that he could play at a high level for months on end and becoming regular season champs cost Wade in the long run. You guys say that Wade likes to coast for long stretches of the season. But is it really coasting? I think Wade knows his body better than most and was just preserving himself for what really mater most.

The Pacers NEVER put this much energy, concentration and effort into ANY of their regular season games. Do you resent LeBron for his Regular Season mentality?

Let me get this straight you are blaming Lebron for the Heat playing hard in the regular season and wade's downfall? You do know that it's spo who decides the minutes and rotations right?

So would you be happier if the Heat didnt finish at 1st Seed and have a crappier record?

Great now people are blaming the players for playing hard nowadays

No one is blaming the players for "playing hard". It's about when you play hard. For a team like the Heat, when you know there is a good chance you will be playing in May/June, playing hard in January is stupid. This is especially true for injury prone players.

The "Showtime" Lakers, "Bird" Celtics, "Bad Boy" Pistons, and "Jordan" Bulls always played hard in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, and Apr. I'm not understanding the point of this thread.
