I got my eye on him for my Knicks at #24 but he may be too raw for them

Don't think he's lasting until 24.

Don't the Hawks supposedly have their eye on him? They have two picks and a wide open SF position. Also Boston was linked to him as well.

Word is that he has two first round promises. You won't hear much from him till the draft since it seems he won't be doing workouts and such, won't even be at the Adidas Eurocamp, he'll be at U19 greek national team training camp at that time. Not sure if it is the right approach for him.

He will be gone before #19........

My Jazz should take him at #21, not at #14.

Will someone take him before #15? Is he worth it?

How is Giannis' jumpshot? If he can get it to a respectable level, we're looking at really good player in the NBA.

As it is right now jumb shot is his main weakness, but its the easiest skill to fix...

his physical attributes and ability to see the floor/handle the ball for someone his size will get him in the top 20 for sure.

Project for sure, but kids got as much upside as anyone in this draft.

I;ve heard this so many times and outside of LeBron..not many crap shooters become good shooters...and it took LeBron damn near 8 years.

Well you are wrong...What about Redd? he joined the league as a slasher and became a dead eye shooter. Amare has developed an amazing mid range game too, just a few names that i can recall fast

Danny Ainge went to Greece to scout him, he's either going to the Celtics or Hawks

I want the Jazz to take him at #14. He should be in the mix there along with Schroeder, Gobert, and Carter-Williams.\

He needs to get stronger, but I like his complete game. He's playing well in the U20 right now.

GMs and scouts can't be so tight lipped much longer.
he has one of the highest ceilings in the draft. its about time the mocks start reflecting that.

He apparently played well in the adidas Eurocamp. Considering the biggest question with him was whether he can compete against legit competition, i'd say his stock will probably shoot right up leading into the draft.

Not according to Jonathan Givony...

Giannis Adetokunbo
After scoring 17 points on 4/5 from inside the arc and 2/4 from three on top of 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 4 fouls in 20 minutes against a Turkish team including 2012 Nets second-rounder Ilkan Karaman, Euroleague center Oguz Savas, and former Texas point guard Dogus Balbay, Giannis Adetokunbo was impressive in his third game in as many days.

Starting off the game with a cheap foul and a traveling call, which have plagued the competition on the whole, Adetokunbo finished the first quarter against the Italian Senior National B Team with 0 points. Scoring 10 points in the second quarter, he connected on a couple of nice floaters in the lane to get himself going. Finishing the game with 12 points, Adetokunbo once again showed promising offensive versatility, doing a little bit of everything in the paint, from the perimeter, and as a primary ball handler, but also making it clear that he still has a ways to go on this end of the floor.

Once again, Adetokubo did his best work on the defensive end, where his length and foot speed allowed him to contest perimeter shots, defend multiple positions after switching, rotate from the weakside to challenge shots, and trap ball-handlers in the corners. Though he lacks strength, the 18 year old didn't let himself get pushed around by the more experienced player he was competing against, showing the type of toughness he'll need as he begins to compete more regularly against quality competition.

The NBA scouts in attendance had a hard time hiding how impressed that were with his poise and basketball relative to where he's at in his learning curve. Teams in the 20's believe there's virtually no chance he gets to them. While Adetokunbo was far from dominant here, he helped himself in a major way by showing that he can hold his own against legitimate players over the last two days against a collection of talented pros from Italy and Turkey which will earn him a significant boost in our top-100 rankings and 2013 mock draft when we make our next updates.

He did not participate in the Adidas Eurocamp, he played some preparation games with the Greek U20 team that happened to take place close to Treviso, so the GMs made the short trip and watched him live. It seems from the reports that he did ok.

Personally, i think he has Top 10 upside in this draft, maybe even better, but he is clearly 2-3 years away from being NBA ready. A lot of this has to do with the fact that he hasn't played against good competition yet and that the athletic training in Europe is generally awful.
