i have the same feeling, i do recall being hyped up on frank 2 years ago. i'm trying to remain optimistic. The difference between Frank and Mo is that Mo is a basketball player. He knows the grind and he can relate. He's also a NBA champion, so he knows what it takes to win.Their was alot better choices out there, and who I would much rather take a flier on and swing for the fences then play it safe and go for another frank. If gores was being true to his words and was ready to spend I doubt a coach wouldnt have come here just because of dumars. This just really pisses me off as a pistons fan that gores/dumars **** the bed on the coaching hire, when we are on such a good track.
Jury's still out, History says your right. This decision was made with Joe D's head on the line. So it was well thought out. Going to be interesting to see if Joe D really knows what he's doing since this is his pick
I hope your right

Charlie V was part of that HS group between 03-05 that were suppose to change the NBA. Highly touted out of HS. My point was , at some point in CV's career, he was expected to be great. CV this year really intrigues me because last season we saw climpses of what he is capable of doing spreading the floor for Dre, if Mo can get him confident, CV will be a major role player on our 2nd unit
i'll be very disappointed if Charlie V is on our roster next year.

i actually want him on the roster til trade deadline and then send him off, as oppose to amnestying him and paying him for nothing. Unless of course its to sign a big FA target.

If we could get something for him i'd love it, I dont want him to play though.
I doubt anyone would give us anything for him though.

With CV's contract and ability to at times drop treas in bunches. i'm sure we could find a contender to take a chance on him. More specifically teams with dominant inside big men. its a matter of what we get in return is worth it. 2nd round pick, i'd take. haha

Re: Knight, the Team and Mo's Influence
i asked this in the other thread,
Does anyone know if Roy Rogers and Dee brown are staying or going. i like what Roy has done with Moose and Dre. i hope we kepe him. Stuckey and knight have been our 2 most inconsistent players, Dee Brown needs to go

Yeah the expiring deal is going to be attractive as they always are.
I'd take a box of Krispy Kremes for that bum at this point.

Re: Knight, the Team and Mo's Influence
“He can be a great deal of help to Brandon,” Cureton said. “He can translate to him what a true point guard is. I think Brandon’s kind of caught between being a one-slash-two. I think Maurice can really help him with his point guard skills to become a complete player, learn how to get players involved, teach him the game. I think he has a real impact on Brandon.
