6'8 PG is always an interesting prospect. I'd also be interested to see him if he gains weight.

I'd be fine with either but i'm not one who thinks pg is our biggest issue like others.

In a draft this bad with almost no sure things, you draft for upside if you have a lottery pick. MCW is a 6'6 point guard who's biggest weakness is one of the most fixable weaknesses for perimeter players. If the guy develops any kind of shot, he's got All Star upside.

Bazz has to fix his defense, ball handling, passing, desire to pass, attitude...and has no special physical attributes in terms of athletic ability or size.

I don't get where this idea of great upside comes from with Bazz. He's only in the lottery discussion based purely on hype. When he was hyped as the potential #1 pick, people thought he was taller, younger and more explosive. It's too bad for Bazz that he had to play at the college level and be measured before he could be drafted.

I dont know many people who think fixing a jump shot is the most fixable of weaknesses. I can't think of a bad shooter in past memory whos become really good.

Shabazz is 6'6, 220 which is great size for a 2 guard that will create match up issues.

Kidd is the only guy I can think of....he never really developed a legit stroke. It wasn't until just a couple years ago that he really improved his 3-pointer.

But Kidd was a great, one of the best all-time passers in the league and a master in transition.

Yep Kidd is a HOFer even without a jumpshot.

Just goes to show, a jumpshot is not easy to correct/fix.

Kidd was a HOFer, and played for 17/18 years.....and he was never able to get his shot right.

You could say the same about a lot of guys....probably thousands of players over time....just can't say many made it in the league for as long as Kidd did. Kidd was special.

WHAT!? Rondo, Wall, Rubio, Stuckey, Bynum. SCOUTING Report? LET THEM SHOOT THE BALL. Fact of the matter is that shots are one of the hardest things to fix for a basketball player. Its the shooting motion, the feet, the placement of the hands, the mentality to shoot the ball. Its probably one of hardest things to fix. MCW jumpshot is very much a project and we aren't going to benefit from that portion of his game to at least the end of his rookie contract, if that.

If the guy develops any kind of shot, he's got All Star upside.

No handles, struggles to finish, not explosive, unproven defender, 185lbs?

Ball handling -is a lot more creative than MCW's.

Passing- pretty sure we aren't drafting him to pass the ball, and i'm 100% sure he can make a pass.

Desire to Pass- 1.) he was at UCLA in a crap system, 2.) we draft a scorer to score the ball. when he starts bricking instead of passing, then we can b*

Attitude- ??????????? because he didn't get the last shot? Everything i've read about Bazz is he's a high character individual , and gym rat. His father and amount of weight his father's influence has is more the concern

Athletic Ability--??????? he's definitely more athletic than MCW. Look at his DX video and his workout video. it screams "LONG" not "athletic". He's also a 6'6" SG/SF with the physical attributes to guard both. He's more proven defensively than MCW 1 on 1.

1.) Its because you don't like him for invalid reasons(stated above)
2.) its because majority of ppl on Realgm don't actually research players, they just look at "BallisLife" videos or other you tube hype videos and join the bandwagon. Shabazz did look a lot taller, younger and more explosive in HS, because he was playing against kids. Now that he's playing against guys bigger than him, of course it seems he's not as advertised. It was the same thing with Barnes. He's hyped because he does have the athleticism, work ethic , size and jump shot to be a good if not great player.
