Giants veteran second baseman Marco Scutaro is out indefinitely with an injury to the pinkie finger on his left hand, according to an ESPN.com report on Wednesday.
The finger took a direct hit from a fastball by Pittsburgh's Tony Watson while batting in the seventh inning on Tuesday night.
