Strictly speaking production, Mayo and Redick are about equal. While Mayo is younger and has more potential, Redick plays better defense, is more consistent and has a much higher IQ. Don't really see Mayo reaching his potential, and we probably couldn't give him enough minutes to do so with him sharing the backcourt with Shump, Jack and Curry. We'll gladly take Redick at 4 million less than Mayo over 4 years.

Like Delfino a lot, but I get a nice back-up big and two seconds. I've been lacking in the pick department so this is a nice bonus.

Deal works. Bogut has returned to form in the past playoffs. And Jack has emerged as one of the best bench players this year. Maybe I'm underselling Dirk? But he isn't the same I'm changing the landscape of this team to get some young talent in the draft.

Kill two birds with one stone, here. I get out of paying Jarrett Jack 8+ million when he's in his 30s, and I get a former Finals MVP and NBA MVP to be the veteran leader my team needs. Is Dirk the same player he was 2 years ago? Not quite. But I don't need him to lead my team in rebounds or points. I'm surrounding him with a ton of talent and he is a perfect fit with the team I already have assembled. Oh, and I still have almost 30 million in cap space for the summer of Lebron.

Bogut looked nice in the playoffs, but we believe his injury history makes his recent performance fools gold. Augustin is a slight downgrade from Jack but makes a fraction of what Jarrett makes and has a team option next year. The pick would be a late 1st anyway, so it is what it is.
