Flip is honing in ... there are no guarentee's, but I am happy to have a legit basketball guy tuned in on our draft targets and FA's. We have some tools to work with here (credit Kahn) to fill some needs, but it's too bad that we never acquired a legit SG (Debit Kahn) over the past few seasons ... Curry, Wes, Webster, etc...

... But hey, it looks brighter ahead.

I wonder if we keep Williams, does #9 + Shved + #26 get us anywhere?

I know, so why post those videos? Showed nothing unique about McLemore

Well he can get up as evidenced by the first video. You can't tell a lot about players based on youtube but eyeteeth was wondering what the hype was about. Just an effort to show it.

Just checked on size - it should be equal.

Sam Amico ‏@SamAmicoFSO 3h
Source adds that Cavs have talked to one team in particular a couple times about No. 1 pick, but it's exploratory only at this stage.

Cavs have been working on "something major," says source. But no details given due to the magnitude.

Ok Klomp.......lets hash this thing out no matter how stupid this may sound.

1) Flip is now suddenly meeting with Oladipo tomorrow morning a week after Oladipo's agent says Flip would have to give them a workable plan on how the Twolves would be able to move up to get his client in the draft.

2) ESPN today says Cleveland is now looking at selecting Oladipo with their first pick.

3) According to Sam Amico Cleveland is talking with one team in particular about a deal having to do with the first pick.

4) Cle went after Sved last year in a duel with the Twolves.

So.....are we looking at the following:?

Williams (5.0Mil) + Sved (3.2Mil) + 9 + 26

for

CJ Miles (2.2Mil) + Chris Quinn (1.1Mil) + Zeller (1.6Mil) + 1

Crazy right?......right?.....................right?

Why are you asking Klomp? "He's" actually a bot that posts random blurbs from a database.

I do to...and they went after Sved, I remember that very well. They want a back up PG without using the draft to do so.

What the hell are we looking at here?

What would the Cavs give us back on a Williams + 9 + 26 + Sved type a deal?

I like Krap's deal a heckuva lot better than Howard's.

I'm asking everybody...What the hell is going on?

Could we be in the running for the top pick....which would be used on Oladipo?

Or has our collective cheese slipped off our cracker?

Couldn't some other team offer more? Maybe with Noels being hurt there is no other team willing to offer more.

The Cavs do like Sved and Williams.

Irving/Sved
Waiters/26th pick
Williams /Gee
Thompson/Williams
Varejao/9th pick

Apparently Zeller has a really good workout in Sacramento today

Better for us of Zeller gets drafted ahead of us. I doubt we would draft him anyways after Flip called him a 4

We all do. No way does the Cavs give us AV. But maybe Gee...he had a horrible year last year and the Cavs may have given up on him...

Let's try this:

Williams (5.0Mil) + Sved (3.2Mil) + 9 + 26

for

CJ Miles (2.2Mil) + Alonzo Gee(3.2Mil) + 1

or

Chris Quinn (1,106,942 Mil) + Alonzo Gee(3.2Mil) + 1 - Cavs would like this option better.

If we traded for #1 we should just take Noel. He could play with Love and Pekovic for sure.

If we were actually doing this it would be for Oladipo or McLemore, not for an injured Noel.

We need to make the playoffs this year...this year.

I don't think we are looking at this....but the Dream is alive!!!

Sam Amico

Also, according to those within organization, Cavs lukewarm on Victor Oladipo or Anthony Bennett at #1, going back & forth on Noel/McLemore.

The Cavs are trading out. Who can give them more? Suns with 3 + 30 + who?
