Rumor is Lakers are interested in signing Will Bynum from Detroit. Think he'd be a good fit?

Michigan resident here. I have been to several pistons games over the years. He is a great slasher and can get hot from time to time. His defense, when a priority of his, is great. He has the ability to be like Nate Robinson offensively when he is hot. Would be great addition for us off the bench. I was actually impressed when he started for the pistons for awhile. Good player and would be great with a bench lineup of bynum blake meeks clark hill. Sign asap.

I've always liked his game. Need a JJ Barea type player especially now in this league.

I think he would be great but New York will most likely beat us to it. Don't they need a replacement for Kidd? What's their salary cap situation? anyone know?

Will Bynum is definitely better than what the lakers have now but it's tough to justify using the mmle on a pg with close to 15mil tied up in the position

Can we get Sessions back? Its not like doing anything here is any worse than being in Charlotte.

Yup

It makes absolutely no sense adding another PG unless Nash or Blake are traded

Yes please. He's exactly what we need. We should only be offering the vet's min though. Don't see why other teams would offer more than that, he was the backup point guard for a 20 win team and he's 30...

The mmle needs to go to a wing player like brewer or webster

This is what I've been wondering, Sessions was great here, he's younger and a better shooter than Will Bynum. I would still take Bynum if we couldn't get sessions back though....

Not using MMLE on him, need swingman help first.

We need help period. Nash sucks on defense. And needs to run a high pace offense, or else he looks like garbage. Metta is insane, Pau is a vagina, and Dwight is a diva.. only bright spot this year was Kobe. Sad that he had to play with such garbage, and we literally ran him into the ground (torn Achilles)

I like Bynum and think he would be a nice addition, but I think the MMLE should be used on a combo guard, someone who can backup Nash, but also start at the two if necessary, or even play there with Kobe sliding down to the three spot.

I just don't see Bynum signin for the vet min, like what would jack said he is 30 and this is his last chance to get a contract I wouldn't doubt him getting an mmle from a team who's over the cap and is close to contending like ny, they also need front court help with a washed up camby and martin leaving in fa or retiring

Not a bad minimum signing.. We need a better 3rd string PG than Duhon.. Nash & Blake are both guaranteed to miss games this season. Don't want him for the mmle though.. That needs to be given to Corey Brewer.
