REALLY?

Player A is Battier when he was 31. Player B is Prince when he was 31. Player C is Willie Green this season and Player D is Afflalo...

So you wouldn't want a 31 years old Shane Battier or a 31 years old Tayshaun Prince or Arron Afflalo in your team? Yeah right.

Numbers are funny things... painting pictures you want to paint but hiding the bits you don't want to show.

Battier = TS% 54.1
Prince = TS% 470
Green = TS% .562
Afflalo = TS% .527

Would you be so kind as to post the total Field Goal Attempts and Free Throw Attempts used to calculate the TS% of all 4 players?

Good thought, Vege.

I hope we "do better," but Green is solid.

Usually I would like a combo-guard or combo-wing to be our back-up 2.
Starting Green? Well, it always depends on the rest of your depth-chart....on that line of thinking, you could build a team around anybody.

Based on those stats, nah, you wouldn't want someone with that profile starting at the 2 for your team. Prince and Battier are coach-players at this point that wouldn't be out there if not for exceptional leadership etc. And both guys play for teams-- as did Green-- that have several very good shot generators and only need their SFs to stand around and shoot when they're wide open.

And for the record my first two posts said, sure I'd love to have Green. But, come on, you don't actually think he wouldn't be one of the worst starters around, right?
