That looks pretty sick. I even like the font.

That would probably be our logo if we became a franchise in the early 80's, lol looks like Alien.

Not a huge fan of font but this one is sick! Hard to think how it will translate into a simple logo though. Might be too detailed.

I'm a Raptors fan, not a Huskies fan, We should bring back the purple and black road jerseys, but not the purple and white home version. Toronto Raptors just sounds right, I can't imagine changing the name.

I just jizzed my pants with the huskies one. that is beautiful.

I would like to keep the Raptors brand but that huskies design blew me away.

I haven't been here long enough but, what was the explanation to change the jersey from the purple to red? I believe the purple was still the best one.

I haven't followed this too much, but I don't see a point in changing the name. Maybe we go back to our retro jersey's, or ones more similar to them.. but a name change? Just don't see it happening

guess what, most teams then where white only, so the knicks are a name that represents the same thing. So I stand by my original sentiment that refuting the name huskies due to "racisim" is absurd.

Chuck cooper was the first the first black man signed in the nba in 1950, so teams a that time that were all white included the knicks, lakers, wizzards, 76ers, pistons, bulls, celtics, pacers, hawks and nuggets.

All teams in all sports were racist in 1946 and the Huskies was one of them. The fact that others were too, does not mean the Huskies weren't.

In 1946, when the Huskies were in existence, Toronto was just a WASP controlled backwater ruled by a Victorian Boer war mentality that was outdated for even that time. That is what the Huskies represent. In the 67 years since, Toronto has evolved into a thriving metropolis and is now known as the most international city in the world. It's a completely different city from what it was in 1946. Aside from other negatives, the Huskies name also does not represent what the city is anymore.

The Huskies is a name of a whites only team from a racist bygone era in sports, and rather than revive it now, it is best left dead and forgotten. It's 2013 and if MLSE does decide to choose a new name, it should choose one that is more appropriate to modern day.

This is awesome!!! Much more sleek and menacing than our current logo with the Raptor bouncing a ball. The only thing I'd do is just switch 'Toronto' and 'Raptors'. I would use that as the primary logo, the claw as the secondary one, and design new uniforms using a red, black and grey color scheme.

I LOVE that Husky design.. maybe if you could add some Canadian flavour to it it would be ideal for Leiweke's desire to be "Canada's team".

Yea I agree with you on the actual Husky itself.. we could change that aspect of it.. but the rest of the design looks great.

Maybe something like this?
