Not sure I really care for bringing Mullin onboard. I'd rather see Wallace as President of Basketball Operations. Another mention of Monta Ellis... I know many Kings fans aren't hot on the idea of signing Ellis but I would sign him if we didn't have to overpay and we had a way of trading Thornton. I'd like to see a back court of Tyreke and Monta. The Kings are missing a closer and I remember reading Monta was one of the top scorers in the NBA at the end of games. Plus I like players that want to play here (if rumors are correct).
Other possible free agents of interest:
Josh Smith
Andre Iguodala
Jarrett Jack (but he bad mouthed Sac few years back while with Raptors)
Matt Barnes (SacTown's Finest)
Tony Allen
Dorell Wright
Al Jefferson
I could easily see us signing two of the above. The new ownership group wants to win and so do all of us.

God no. Why.
I hope his first counsel is "Don't ever listen or act according to what I suggest when it comes to basketball"
From the presser it seemed to me like he has MAJOR pull on Vivek, which is bad news for us imo.

It would be as a consultant, not as president. With D'Alessandro in charge, I feel good.

But still, hell no to Ellis. With the exception of superstars, undersized shot-happy SGs are good for one thing only--scoring punches off the bench.

Yeah, I remember Jarrett Jack mouthing off to Kings fans back in 09-10 season, saying something about players not wanting to come to Sac bcuz it's a cowTown. (It was Bosh's contract year). Not sure if his opinion has changed much, haha.
