Guys -

What is Bledsoe is included instead of DJ?

Is that a good deal?

So KG + Doc + Terry for Butler + Bledsoe and 1 rounder pick

Potential of what? Of getting 3ppg and 6rpg during the playoffs? Hitting 50% free throws for a season? He's not even worth 5 million. He can dunk..and mhm..that's it.

Hell until the miami series Hibbert, wasnt worth his money either, neither was Lopez, Chandler.....the center spot is slim so they are generally overpaid thats the norm

Because he just said he would re-sign if they got Doc & KG, if Sterling just blows him off decides Shaw and the same team as last year is good enough he is gone.

Hou, Atl, Dal it doesn't matter he is going to go somewhere they care about winning as much as he does.

Im not saying its right but it is what it is...hell brandon bass and JEff green arent worth the money they got but they got it....he is big and athletic , the hope of him blossoming into something is what gets him paid

Hibbert was a 13/9 guy with excellent D before his contract was signed.
Lopez scored just under 20 points in around 27 mins per game.

Both did one thing excellently, thats why they got paid, DeAndre does nothing excellently.

Agreed here. +1. The clippers think they have all the leverage. Sorry but you dont. CP3 will walk if they dont do this deal or one like it. Houseton with Harden and Howard is looking nice. We can get Asik from houston.

11 million, his actual salary and we're talking a lot more in the ballpark. I forgot about the trade kicker, which is on us if the deal goes down correct?

Captain, dumpster fire is a little harsh given the state of big man skills in the league.

BfB wrote:It's just time for a change. Gotta let roles re-order with the current personnel to allow them to grow. I want to see DeAndre Jordan get 10-12 shots a game on the post - same for Sullinger. I want to see Rondo run the show while looking for his own offense moreconsistently. I want to see Bradley in motion instead of planted in the corner. And Green, basically, keep doing what he did last year.

On just the current personnel there is tremendous value for allowing them to take on larger roles in order to push their development along faster.

So much this. I think this board is forgetting how good Sully was looking before he went down with the back issue. Sully will only look better as he is given the green light on offense to shoot the three. He can post, shoot beyond the arc, and has the vision to make some excellent passes. The main thing that keeps me hopeful about this offer is that Jordan compliments Sully so well. After the trade is made, tell Bradley to do nothing but focus on the corner 3 (and, as BFB said, focus on his off the ball movement with Rondo back). Next season, a starting five of:

Rondo
Bradley
Green
Sully
Jordan

has crazy potential for bolstering value, and I for one would love to see Rondo setting up Green/Bradley/Jordan while Sully gets the Al Jefferson treatment on offense. Defensively, we'd be just fine. Furthermore, I think people are underrating Butler in an off the bench role. Honestly, I bet our 2013 day 1 lineup would take our 2012 playoff team in a 7 game series, and I bet they'd do so in 5 games.

I'll second this as well. I think that's a pretty good core to start with. Then PP, Butler, Bass & Lee or whatever you get for them, plus a couple picks. Add a shooter, and you're in pretty good shape.
