I agree that they are going to come up empty, but Amir DD and Ross for Horford? Thats a joke right?

Ross + Fields + a protected 1st in 2014.

So the Magic are going to pass on Wiggins and Randle and Parker because they have Tobias Harris? I wonder if anyone thought that the '03 Cavs would pass on LeBron because they had Ricky Davis...

not just tobias, but harkless and porter if they select the later (probably not). They would obviously try to offload the names I just mentioned, but with the picks package I'm envisioning we would give them more value than they can hope to get with the other three (two?) in a trade.

Huge overpay. Seriously dude, just stop

Hortford is a actually an all star which is an accomplishment no one on this roster has acheived. By acquiring him we would be able to run a better offense while still being above average defensively. Trading a bunch of role players for him is a no brainer if we want to be taken seriously as a playoff team. Gay and Lowry can run PnR or PnP with Hortford or Hortford can run a high low with Val. A lot of possibilities with him on the team

How is that an overpay? Atlanta would hang up the phone. Horford is the best player in that whole trade, BY FAR.

I'd rather keep DD, Ross, Amir & 2014 1st than have Horford

That trade decimates all our depth. Remove them and add Horford and our record probably doesn't change.

"All Star" is just a label. A popularity contest. There are plenty players that have deserved that label but never get in because of votes.

Depth? Are you serious?

Depth is unimportant on a team looking for players to build around. Horford and Valucianas would quickly be not just one of the better frontcourts in the East, but in the NBA period. To me, that's a no-brainer of a trade. You have your pf/c combo locked down for the next 5-10 years...you don't pass that up for bench depth.

Our record would definitely rise beause we would get better on both sides of the ball with Hortford as a number 2 option and Delfino replacing demar. Benches do not carry teams to the playoffs; A strong starting 5 will. I don't see IND, BKN, CHI, MIA having any game changing bench players. They are where they are because of their starting lineup.

That's a enticing trade for both teams so I commend you on that. But I wouldn't do it. It goes completely against the whole rebuild model & puts us in win now mode with little chance at improvement in the upcoming years (other than Val improving + better chemistry). It also becomes problematic because we put all our eggs in one basket, aka Horford. So one injury, or a lack of chemistry with the team & we're in deep. If we have Ross, Demar, and 2015 1st round pick, we have a ton of potential within those guys. And lastly I love Amir haha

and it isn't just bench depth.

DeRozan is a starter, Amir is a starter/very good backup, Ross is a potential starter. That right there is a lot of talent to give up for an overrated injury prone PF.

People underestimate how good our current starting 5 is. It was our depth that really hurt us.

Now that would seem like a much more worthwhile trade for the Raptors. We'd still be giving up a ton of potential & talent, but at least it would be at a position where we already have a bit of redundancy with 2 good SG prospects.

Its crazy to think Amir is a year younger than Horford and has been in the league 2 years longer. :o

and don't get me started on Delfino

Our bench should filled with youth over the Anderson's and Delfino's of the world.

You cannot run your offense though any of those guys because they are role players and flawed ones at that. They have not proven anything to suggest that they are franchise cornerstones so why keep them and pass up a proven star player?

Meh, could care less about these stupid fantasy trades. They never happen anyways.

Is Masai quietly working on trade? I am kind of surprised we haven't heard anything in a long time.

Andrea to OKC For Perkins + #29 + #32 (draft Isiah Cannon + Reggie Bullock)

DeRozan + Jennings to Utah
Millsap S&T to Toronto
Gordan Hayward + Alec Burks to Milwaukee

Lowry - Cannon -
Anderson - Ross - Bullock
Gay - Fields - Bullock
Millsap - Amir
JV - Perkins

Hope Bullock becomes Tony Allen, JV becomes Marc Gasol and we have a Memphis type team
