Who would you want to win, Spurs or Heat?

I do not care who wins because any team that wins will be annoying. Bron will have 2 and will be compared to MJ and Kobe will be forgotten. Or Duncan will have five and Shaq will be forgotten. Parker will probably be right behind Magic too if he gets the finals mvp. This is annoying to Lakers fans.

Spurs all the way. Gotta respect that their three main guys are still their main guys like five decades later, and they are just playing so well too. Their longevity is just too impressive not to be in awe of.

Plus Tony Parker deserves his dues as one of the top flight PGs of the league.

Not really sure how any Laker fan could want Lebron and the cHeat to win another ring...hell, any NBA fan besides the bandwagon Miami fans (which I see so many of in South Florida...people couldn't tell you the name of their starting pg, yet cheer and fight you to the death for them).

No legend respects what they did...Shaq is one of them (and he used to play there!) I'm sick and tired of people comparing Lebron to Kobe, and never ever mentioning mental toughness. Only his flash, and his athletic ability. Lebron doesn't have "IT" like MJ and Kobe have "it"....I want Lebron, the mental midget to fail at his "not 1, not 2, not 3.. etc" promise.

As a Laker fan from 2003 the Spurs are probably the team I consider my team's biggest rivals over the past decade. Historically yes the Cs are bigger rivals but 7 times in 15 years is not normal.

That being said, I look at it two ways.

If the Heat win, the fans will be unbearable. LeBron will be anointed top 5 GOAT already, people will claim Wade is the best 2 guard in the league, blah blah blah.

If the Spurs win, however, it may result in a premature fracture in the Miami squad and maybe open the door for us a little in the summer of 2014.

I personally hate everyone on the Heat team besides LeBron, but part of the reason I rooted for the Spurs earlier in the series was that a fourth FMVP for Duncan would put his legacy out of reach for Kobe almost undeniably. However, he's been very ok this series, and this title won't make a big difference to his personal legacy and all-time ranking.

And hell, how can you root against Danny Green right now?

My answer used to be Heat but now it's Spurs. Go break up the big 3 and deliver the King to LA

I didn't want to see the Spurs make the Finals.. At all.

I totally expected the Heat to crash and burn against Indiana.

The Basketball Gods must hate me. Every team I've dared to root for has failed and now I'm left with choosing the lesser of two evils.

If Duncan wins another ring, he's practically cemented as the greatest of our generation.. A title that I'd like to see on Kobe when it's all said and done. So I pray that Kobe comes back with a vengence... and has a couple more cracks at a Finals run.

Not saying all LeBron fans are stans and annoying as ****, but the stans are the loudest.. like Kobe stans.

To answer the question though, I'm rooting for the Spurs because of the cinderella story we are all witnessing with Danny Green.


EDIT: Plus, even though the Spurs have been our Western Conference rivals.. there's no way a basketball fan could not respect and admire how the Spurs are run on every level.. Management, Coaching, Individual Talent.

Either way, people will be talking about Duncan or LeBron in higher regards than Kobe. Pick the lesser of two evils.
