It's a whole different package without Bledsoe.
Is there any way that Pierce can be included in this, w/o going the $15Mil way?

steiny-mo wrote:Lee has three years left on his contract valued at $14.4 million; Terry is scheduled to earn nearly $11 million over the next two seasons. One source close to the talks said Monday night that "considerable momentum" remains behind the talks because the financial flexibility gained by trading Lee or Terry, along with the acquisitions of Jordan and a first-round pick, likely add up to too much for Boston to pass up for a coach (Rivers) who no longer wants to be there and a player (Garnett) who is likely to retire if he can't carry on alongside Rivers and fellow Celtics star Paul Pierce.
Pierce is not part of this trade, but sources say that the Clippers hatched this ambitious plan to acquire Rivers and Garnett with the intent from the start to land Pierce as well. The Celtics have until June 30 to either buy Pierce out for $5 million or guarantee him $15.3 million for next season, but it's believed that Boston wants to wait until the draft later this month to see if it can make a trade to get something for Pierce instead of just setting him free.

Heard Shelbourne on LA sports radio earlier. She said that she thinks LAC will take Terry, and now it's a matter of whether they'll take Lee too.

DeAndre Jordan is huge. He may only be 6'10" in bare feet but he has a 7'6" wingspan and 9'5.5" standing reach (11th largerst in DX data base). So feel free to find one of those bigger centers. Dwight Howard is 6'9" with a 7'4.5" and 9'3.5" I guess you would view him more as a undersized PF.
Size and age aren't the only metrics here. You need to be a good player too. Jordan cannot shoot...period! Unless its a dunk of course

I like Doc, but I cannot help but feel that he's putting the team on hostage. Damn it!
Turn the clock ahead one year. The Celtics will get a heck of a lot more offers for D Jordan then they will for KG. Celtics are rebuilding, this is what it's about. Collecting assets.PP 4 Three wrote:I'm sorry, but Jordan's been in the league for 5 years and is still getting benched in the 4th quarter for being a liability. That does not sound like a guy who has shown any major signs of progress. The fact that he's gonna be in a **** situation in Boston is probably gonna hinder his motivation to get better even more.
