 Most fans and local media tend to overrate their own players, so when Heisler is calling Jordan a klutz, that speaks volumes.

Time to trade Pierce and KG to Dallas. Cuban waives Pierce, buys out KG and signs both Paul and Howard.

It is the Clipper, have they ever made a good move? They should be all over this deal, instead they think adding another first is a bad idea?

It was not a great trade for us, so I am not upset if it does not go through...but I do not believe this thing is over...

Yeah, Jordan is simply not that great and severely overpaid for his skill level and production. And, again, being willing to pay Jordan 13 million makes it really difficult to tell Rondo you don't think he's worth a max deal, or to get Bradley to sign for 5-6 million vs. 8-9 million.

I think Ainge has done well to walk away. Now it's just a matter of how he moves forward. IMO, hes gotta go in damage control mode and get KG and Doc back on board.

The Clippers are going to look like complete fools when they lose Chris Paul now. I can't believe they truly were unwilling to sacrifice one additional late 1st round pick. They must be awfully confident that they have another move to keep Paul in town.

Either way you know Cuban is laughing at this situation.

Happiest guys in the league right now are the Atlanta Hawks.

So let me get this straight. The Clippers wanted to...

- Acquire Doc Rivers, KG and essentially Pierce
- Get rid of DeAndre Jordan's contract
- Keep Eric Bledsoe
- Not have to take on the contract of Terry or Lee

But at most would only offer Jordan and the #25 pick. Comedy.

They deserve to lose CP3.

losers:
Sterling
Doc
Clips and Celts

Winners:
Lakers
Rockets
Mavs
Hawks

I can see why Olshey fled...
Clips are destined to remain irrelevant non-contenders, cannot close the winning deal

So, does Houston push for CP3 now? Get him on board in principle and them pitch for DH12?

If I'm CP3 I'd take Harden/McHale/Morey over Griffin/Hollins/Sterling

Loving all the anti-Sterling stuff, maybe it'll bring them back to the table humiliated?

How about this- KG, Pierce for Asik, Lin, Robinson, 1st and a coach swap- HOU runs hard at CP, can alternately keep Pierce, buy him out, or deal him as an expiring- Lakers would probably love Pierce for Gasol.

I don't see what the big deal by turning down their initial **** offer is. If Doc goes to TVland, KG retires, Pierce is traded, Rondo working back from an ACL, we're gonna suck, right? Well tanking accomplished!

And regarding tanking, Ainge is not married to that. He was trying to trade for Smith and Millsap. That's not a tanking move. A lot of assumption KG won't be back, but we haven't heard a peep from KG other than that he'd assent to this trade.

And Clippers being Clippers = Sterling being Sterling. I think Heisler is overstating it with "Sterling won't be dictated to". The guy just doesn't want to pay for a championship contender. And that will be very apparent to Chris Paul, if it already isn't.

Sterling doesn't give a ****. He can probably lose CP and still turn a profit.

Sadly, I think there may be some truth to this. And this may be why we lost Ray Allen...everybody knows when they're being shopped because it's being leaked.

Don't think they can fit CP3, with Pierce making $15 million.

What would work is Houston moves Asik for cap space & a pick.
Boston then deals KG for TRob, Terrance Jones, Lin and a pick.
Pierce joins Houston for the MLE and CP3 joins Houston starting @ $20 million..

They deserve to lose CP3.

They tried to bend Danny backwards and **** him. The most pathetic organization in NBA history trying to take advantage of the most successful is just a disgrace. Nothing would make me happier than them losing out on CP3 for this.

Because this is the era of manufactured superteams...even if it's for joke franchises like the Clippers or the Heat. As long as the weather is nice and the players can hang with B-list celebrities!

Clippers not only lose out on KG and Doc...but most likely Pierce---who would have been their 1st or 2nd Best Player in the playoffs---and Go to Guy/Decoy at the end of games---CP3 aint that guy---Griffin sure the hell aint that guy.....MORONS will never win anything.

Sick of these rivalry things.

Lakers are west coast and we play 2 times a year. Who cares if we trade them a player. Stupid un-written rules of sports. I wouldn't trade Pierce in division or conference. That's it. West Coast? If LA has best deal, then make deal.
