splitter is quicker than Duncan? The same Duncan that just scored 25 in a half of a finals game by beating everyone to spots? You're burying yourself here. And no- I'm pretty sure that's not what defines a center. Kinda like it's not jump balls.

dude, we have to just agree to disagree. i know what you are saying, you want to be pc, but being pc doesn't mean that duncan is a pfwd or that scientists found the gay gene.

that's the second gay reference and a weed reference on top of it. Way to stoop and get the thread likely locked.

How did this thread devolve into analogies predicated on a 19th century understanding of homosexuality?

Since we are wildly off-topic anyway - Duncan is a center. Played at center in college and would have played center for almost every team in the league coming out of college. He plays nothing like a power forward, SA has stuck to the formula that gained them success early in Duncan's career, but when the game is on the line Duncan plays center - especially now.
Furthermore, I don't blame KM for wanting to protect his legacy. He shouldn't be compared to a player who doesn't play the same natural position.

so Lebron will never be the greatest anything? Because he has NO natural position. Magic isn't the greatest pg of all time? Cause he clearly wasn't a 'natural' pg... You ARE the position you play... How is that so hard to understand? What are we calling Barkley? Or Pau gasol?

Westbrook isn't a pg because he wasn't in college? How many players switch position in the nba outta college? Why is Duncan the one that we insist be known as a position he hasn't played in 15 years?

I agree with king, Duncan is a PF not a C.

    1. As for this thread, I don't like Lin, he is overrated.
    2. Asik is good however, I wouldn't want the Jazz to trade for him, I don't think he would really fit our team.
And I think it would hurt the team more then it would help. I want us to be flexible for 2014.
    3. I like Robinson.
    4. As for Royce White, the altitude may be to high for him.
