help me understand something

If we sent Howard to the Hawks can they give us Teague in return? If at all possible I want Teague and Williams. Truth be told I read the new CBA but wont sit here and act as if I fully understand it

That would be a somewhat ideal situation if we cannot resign Dwight. Although it would look weird...

Lakers S&T Dwight Howard for...Jeff Teague + Marvin Williams.

I believe the tax threshold is around 75m...
Which from my understanding means if we amnestied MWP, we'd potentially be under the threshold and might be able to receive a player in a s/t, as long as it wouldn't put us back over the threshold.

We can only receive players if it reduces our payroll and we finish under the apron. But that's virtually impossible as long as Kobe and Pau are signed.

can't receive players who are signing a new contract. lakers can still receive players who are already under contract like blake griffn. i have a feeling u might have misunderstood.
