Jeff Teague PG skills?

Post#1 » by minimus » Thu Jun 20, 2013 5:23 am

Hi all,
is Jeff Teague really good at passing? I remember two years ago he was awful in this area. I saw many times JJ was open on 3pt line and Jeff just ignored/didn't see him. Can he control game pace, involve bigs now?

P.S. I didn't watch a lot of Hawks games last season.

Teague grew out of his shell last season, he became a good distributer and even averaged over 7 assists per game, he doesn't pass up on wide open 3s which was a major problem a couple years ago. He's a good 3 point shooter shooting at just about 40%. The problem is that he still has a tendency to dissappear in big games/playoffs, maybe with coach Bud instead of the development killer Larry Drew at the helm Teague will achieve a new level of play and want the ball in big situations

his PG skills are average to below average. He is a score first point guard.
