Not even my youtube link is working. This surely can't be a sign of things to come...

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.
NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

Guys I want you to think about it: If Miami win tonight, Lebron will be FMVP ! F*cking finals MVP!
And then all of a sudden his 13years old fans will claim that he has a good series, based on his stats.
Boy this will be a long off season.

He did have a good series. It's not about LBJs level of play compared to other players, it's about the level of play fans expect from him.
Any way you slice it, if the Heat win tonight, he alone is the reason the Heat are champions.
27ppg
9rpg

Those are his numbers in the 3 wins. You can't skew those stats any other way. Those are MVP numbers. If the Heat win game 7 tonight, I would bet he has similar numbers.

If Manu Turnobli can give the Spurs 20 minutes without any turnovers, the Spurs will win this. He is very important because he provides the alternate ball handler they need when Parker is trapped.

Danny Crawford
Scott Foster
Monty McCutchen
Well, Danny Crawford should be able to maintain order. Scott Foster is worrisome though.
(And yeah, the underlying problem the NBA has that people are keyed into ref assignments)

Still rooting for wins, but losses aren't the worst thing in the world. Perhaps the optimal strategy is hoping the Blackhawks are on at the same time.

Thanks for proving my point. I never saw how ineffective such good stats could look on the floor.
To sum it up: His stats doesnt show his impact, especially his uncluthness!
And btw between game 1 to game 6, Lebron was never the best player on one of the games...
How could he deserve to be FMVP? But I agree he will and he should, because in this series the other were inconsistent. ( Wades game 4 was MVP-like, than his game 6 bad again)
And right now, he should thank Allen, because Lebron gifted nearly the game to the Spurs with his poor shooting and turnover in the last posessions.
This will be the worst FMVP ever! No one deserves it. I think the only one who played consistently good was Kawhi Leonard!

I really cant understand why he is trying ALWAYS to make highlight passes? I know Miamis defense is good, they defend the passing line and thats why you cant play simple passes. But he has to find another way, because turnovers led to fastbreaks. And thats not worth the risk!

Re: NBA Finals Thread - I Need A Miracle
I'm kinda mixed on who I want to win.
On one hand, if the Spurs win:
- my hated Miami loses which would be funny, especially to see the post game presser
- Duncan might retire - making the path to a title next year easier
- Miami might panic and make a bad trade
- Miami might panic and make a great trade - which would not be good
- I don't really like the Spurs either and would love to see them done for good, eliminated from being a contender, which is more likely if they lose than win
On the other hand, if Miami wins:
-the team I hate wins
- all of the players I hate win
- at least maybe SAS becomes less of a contender in some way due to the loss - less enemies for the Bulls
I guess I marginally want the Spurs to win, but I definitely don't like either of these teams. The only player I really like on either team is probably Leonard.

Re: NBA Finals Thread - I Need A Miracle
This will be somewhat of a legacy game for Manu I think. While I know he's been a great player, I still tend to think of him as one of the most overrated players (by hardcore fans) of a generation. I don't really know what he did internationally before the NBA but to me he's not a HOF player. Kinda really benefited from the drop off of a cliff of the top SG talent after guys like Finley, Stackhouse, JRich, Eddie Jones, TMac, Carter, RIP etc all fell off.

I think that what sells him in the Hall of Fame since its a Basketball Hall of Fame not NBA HOF.

Re: NBA Finals Thread - I Need A Miracle
I don't see the Spurs winning. Scott Foster is the king of cooking games while Joey Crawford just makes terrible calls all around. I see Heat winning in a blowout. They have all the momentum and new life. Spurs were up by like 5 with 30 seconds left. No way they should've blow that. But they also blew a 13 point lead to Houston a few years back too. Turrible. I already put a few hundred bucks on Miami tonight. If I have to see them win, might as well be able to enjoy some of it.

Yea Ginobili's NBA stats probably wouldn't be enough to get him in but when you consider he was a phenomenal international player before that and was the leader of the only olympic team in the last 25 years to beat the USA he has a very good chance

I always worry about that. They have the pieces, and a great trade can turn into multiple championships.
