I would be pissed off if we turn Hump into bench stuff. Its pointless. If we want to move up a notch...have to get ONE more quality piece.

completely agree. Bass is an upgrade to evans but really, that doesnt make us better. neither does terry. we need impact guys. high reward guys. not role players

ok guys come on, Lee would be a big time upgrade his defense isn't good but the only time ive seen reggie evans play good defense is on blake griffin like one game. problem is he can't even elevate nor is he very tall atleast lee has some athleticism that he can take advantage of. Our offense would be even more spread out, how do you guard lee AND lopez? both can spread the floor and flat out shoot the ball from mid range. All to give up hump i'm all for it, i love david lee dude just brings some energy to the floor and honestly i wouldn't mind having someone that can throw down a dunk or two lol just to make this team more athletic.

Simply put, it's a no brainer. It's a MAJOR upgrade and the Nets don't have any other options. The only other player I would try to snatch away is Paul Millsap. I don't think he's a free agent, which means that Hump can be involved in a trade (along with Brooks, possibly) and be sent to the Jazz. Not sure Jazz would make that trade though.

Millsap would have to be a S&T, it's pretty much impossible.

I'd be good with David Lee, bad defense aside.
