So you need to post lies to try to embarrass me while I only need to go back 2-3 days to actually prove you post a lot of crap.

That thread is not Oden for Monroe to dump Rip.

I post a hell lot of trade ideas the fact you had to hide 80% of what I actually posted to try to make it look bad speaks loudly about the quality of my posts, on the other hand, you are the guy who ACTUALLY posted that Iguodala is a better shooter than Prince

Keep trying champ. Nothing I posted on this boards will embarrass me, you can try all day.

The trade is Oden/Fernandez for Stuckey and Moose. Which is even worse. Neither player is on an NBA roster! I can't believe you're trying to justify it.

3 years ago, it wasn't a bad trade idea, you can read the comments, you even commented on that thread and didn't say anything about it, I can't believe you had to go back 3 years and hide 80% of what I actually posted there to try to embarrass me, I can't stop LoLing Mr Andre Iguodala is a better shooter than Tyshaun Prince.

Like I said, keep trying champ.

Vege, not sure why you're talking about other people getting credit...

do you feel you don't get enough credit around here?

This is not about me. My reply to theBiglip was very honest and clear. I don't like how what some people around here post their opinion and people kiss their asses, when not everything they post is gold (like everybody else).

Everyone post good and bad stuff, some people always get bad reactions to their opinion and some always get favorable reaction to their opinion, regardless of what that opinion actually is.

I am not saying I get a lot of negative reaction, if anything the past few weeks I had a bunch of people liking my posts and having positive reaction to it, I'm saying how I see things happening and I'm saying I don't like it.

Honestly I don't see how anyone expected anything good to come out of past threads. The only thing that could (and did) happen is bitter feelings. Poor discipline from whoever revived all these threads.

Sorry but I disagree. I think we can learn a lot looking to the past  I think reviving a lot of threads is pointless and bad but revive one here and there once in a while is really good.

If you go back and read old threads you'll find a lot of quality posts from the same posters and a lot of crap from the same (other) posters.

Kirsten for example, the guy was annoying as fck and this boards are a lot better without him however he was right in a lot of things he posted (I'm naming someone who doesn't post here anymore on purpose to not bash or inflate someone's ego).

People around here need to stop kissing the asses of some posters and start thinking, that's what I'm trying to say.

Vege —

I'm asking, by all means, inflate someone's ego — please name a poster who you feel doesn't get enough credit and is dismissed due to a lack of total posts. For the record, I'm still a relative "newbie" and yet I feel my posts (both good and bad, and I admit that I've had both!) are judged quite fairly. If the poster you name suddenly gets a huge ego and turns into a prick, I'll take all the blame for it. Otherwise, if someone deserves a pat on the back for quality posts, stand up and give him/her one! This aint the McCarthy Hearings; go ahead and name names!

This is not something exclusive of this thread, it's something that got me thinking since a while ago and it follows the pattern in every thread.

I remember when Piston Prince had a laughable and horrible offseason plan (everyone does) and a bunch of people massacred him, even begging him to stop posting in this boards ( it was some time ago but I remember it). Then you'll read threads like this and see he actually post a lot of quality stuff and doesn't get credit for the good things he post.

My point is in general, I wasn't aiming to hit someone in particular with my commentaries.

If you want me to give credit for people who deserve credit, dVs33, RTM and Han Solo should been taken a lot more serious imo, if you read old threads and actual threads you'll see they're very consistent posters.

Like I said, everyone post good and bad stuff even the 4 guys I named in here post a ton of not so great stuff, what bothers me sometimes is the way it is posted and the different treatment some people get for a reason or another :D

And I totally killed theBigLip idea I'm sorry, we should be pointing at each other and laughing but I turned this into another direction. I feel like I said everything I wanted to say about this, so I'm done with the subject.

Whenever I read Jodi I visualize that post saying Harden and Manu were not good players because they were bench players

You banked alone the fact that we were going to draft Drummond last year, I thought you were crazy I probably even posted that, but you were right and luckily I was wrong, I couldn't be happier :D

I like you, you're a cool kid.

Thanks for the shout out, I'm fully aware I come up with some garbage ideas but the sad truth of the matter is there's not a lot of good obvious moves for the team to make right now.

I've been on these boards a long time, I think what I'm going to think and welcome insightful disagreements, unfortunately it seems people disagree with posts in ways that add no value except to the number under their name.

I'm pretty sure Vege's point we need to take away is if we all focus on quality over quantity we can return this board to the insightful open forum it was a few years ago. Maybe even encourage some quality posters of the past to jump back on board.

I came back... am I quality :-)

I'll name names since I have already mentioned it to both of them:

Hotel Vitale and Clarity had a quality discussion relating to potential Draft picks and I for one was happy to read it. I was so happy in fact that I posted only to compliment the both of them!

I've found quite a few people on here that I could read all day.

Warspite, Kilo, Big Lip, Piston Pete, Chrbal, BBF (still absent after all these years!) ... old friends that I remember well

Clarity, Hotel Vitale, I'mHeisenberg, CGC, Blkbrd671 (I looked it up to get the number right), vege.... I'll go out on a limb and say these guys essentially took over the forum during the last 5 years or so.... am I right?

Obviously there are other people I have read that I've agreed with or liked their posts... but I can't remember everyone. I couldn;t even tell you who was a Real GM, an assistant or a ball boy or a coach or whatever rankings they have here now.

I dont even use the And 1 thing often... because Im not sure if it means I agree with the post or just that I think it's a quality post or both! And sometimes it's a quality post but I completely disagree with it... do I aAnd 1 that **** or not?

anyway... I enjoy being back... lots of quality... and I think everyone should post more. The more discussion the better. And the more we disagree the better, as long as it's within the guidelines and all that.

If we all agree all the time the place would be boring

You was not posting here at that time, however you're the first guy here who mentioned Drummond, even if you rarely posted here before he got drafted.

Didn't think I would stir up so much passion bumping up the Drummond threads. As long as we stay civil, the board is good. Even if we have people posting horrific ideas, the board is sort of self policing. Responses state why it is horrible, people agree or not, and then we can move on, but hopefully we get more educated or a better insight on our team or the NBA in general, or gulp, even life itself :-)

If Drummond actually DOES drop all the way to number 9, it means his value will have gone DOWN. Teams don't pass on a big with that kind of size and athleticism unless they're getting really negative impressions from him, either in work ethic or genuine talent (we've heard issues with both).

or if those 8 teams are the Cleveland Cavs, Toronto Raptors, Charlotte Bobcats & Washington Generals aka Lottery regulars.
