Los Manos first of all, great work. I would echo what Marvin has said here, and frankly I think you're pretty close to something very viable.

I would love to see the text white but I understand you want the contrast with the teeth. That said, the third logo is the weakest currently (which is usually the case) and it just needs a little something. Maybe a bit of the claw you use in the primary?

Somethin like this maybe?

- Completely agree with everyone's comments on the 't' in the script. I'd talked myself into it being passable but now after having a night away from it and seeing your reactions, the logo's with the Dino in it aren't quite right. I need to figure out a way to make the 't' more legible.

- Like the idea of some claws in the Third logo.

- The split 'R' was a choice really made quite early on when everything was a lot simpler. I wanted there to be a focus on talons in the branding but once everything started to build up there is an argument to say that the split is unnecessarily confusing to the eye and could potentially be read as a 'P'.

I, for one, LOVE the original logo of the Raptors.

Any way we can keep a chunk of it moving forward is great in my books.

Really like the secondary one.

I'm sick of the red, black, white combo/reminds me too much of the BC era.

I hope we go in the direction of Blue, White, Grey, with a touch of red if the maple leaf is incorporated.

I hate the red/white scheme too but I think it's here to stay. I agree with others Los Manos, you're really close to something with that design. That primary logo has it all, really. Nice job

I also like the combining of the claw and the leaf that ballislife did. It just looks cool

The white jerseys are way to similar to Philly's as mentioned before

I think adding red as "Canadian flavour" would backfire if the jerseys ended up being red white and blue as a result...we'd end up with a net result of 'Murican colourways

Los Manos,

My thoughts:
"R" and "T" needs to be fixed
I think the black shadowing is a bit heavy
Colour of font to white

Can you do a rendition with the leaf (all one medium dark red) with no ball.
CN town can be kept as the middle stem
Raptor animal Colour to a more realistic dinosaur colour (tan?) *

My thought is that with the red leaf, the raptor doesn't need to be red (and not purple)

2nd logo: nice thought and idea. execution needs to be tighter. the maple leaf with the claw is nice. make the claw bigger. change the font you used for the R; in fact, eliminate the R completely. let the leaf-and-claw spell out that it is a Raptors' logo. i'd put a larger, stylized T instead of an R. maybe combine the CN Tower-as-a-T idea that others had before.

3rd logo: the cursive font is a mess. black with a red logo above it is a mess. the "Toronto" font is too clean.

unfortunately, to get a great font, you either need to spend hrs pouring over font websites, or you need to hand-draw the font.

my wife is sleeping, so i have time to tweak Los Manos's logo.

i changed the shades of red, edited the R and the T, and put Toronto on the frame of the T.

i went from thinking that LM's logo was ok, to actually kind of digging this edition of it (not patting myself on the back, heh)

I really like this version! I just think the "Toronto" part should be a little bigger/more noticeable from a distance. It's just pretty small right now.
