What is with this board's obsession with Demarcus Cousins?

No non-Piston gets more threads than him.

Cousins was 27th in PER, Monroe was 35th.
Cousins was and Monroe were tied in Efficiency at 24th place.

That's nowhere near a big enough difference to take on Cousins' personal problems.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

You guys are like the naive girlfriend who's going to be the one to "fix" her loser, alcoholic, out of work, loser boyfriend. It's not going to happen.

Piston Pete wrote:Is he really that bad, or does he just not fit in Sacto?

My take on the situation was that he never really liked Sacto and they never really fully embraced him either.

But he's still an uber-talented guy who scores and rebounds better than Monroe and has better range on his shot than Monroe -- he might be a better fit next to Drummond long-term than Monroe.

Bottom-line: can he behave?

A 3-headed monster in Monroe/Cousins/Drummond would have insane potential...The only problem we would face is figuring out who comes off the bench...

Stay away from this obvious team cancer. We are loaded at the power positions. Monroe all-star, Drummond - possibly on his way to being the league's next elite franchise center. We have other fish to catch and fry.

Just stay away from this jerk.

Now that we have Drummond/Monroe we don't need this moron. Let's check back in 5 years and see if he's matured.

Maybe one day I'll have 100 times my posts and 25 people will agree with me and you'll finally be proud of me. Until then your **** ideas can be lol-fodder for my superior understanding of basketball.

Come on guys...This is a message board so opinions are supposed to be different. No reason to get personal. I disagree with Pete here but I don't personally attack the dude.

Haha, he made it personal. I called his opinion Nonreputable and he made it personal.
