Like either of these deals?

Bounced around the trade board...

Pistons out: #8
Pistons in: Greivis Vasquez, #16

Pistons out: Rodney Stuckey, #8
Pistons in: Evan Turner
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Hmm, neither are bad trades. If I did the first, I would try taking Crabbe. You would have a big lineup that can stretch the floor.

PG-Vasquez 6'6''
SG-Crabbe 6'6'' (6'11'' Wingspan)

I liked the second deal. A change of scenery could do wonders to Turner. He's a decent play maker and ball handler, which is perfect to pair up with Knight imo.
NOH probably won't do the first one.

Or maybe #8 and Villanueva for Durant? Pelicans would hang up the phone laughing even if Joe offered them #8 and BK for Vasquez...

If you bounced around the trade boards I know you saw my proposal on the Sixers board...Would you do this trade?..

Pistons get: 11th pick + Moultrie
Sixers get: 8th pick + Stuckey + Pistons 2nd rounder

Jarrett Jack is leaving the Warriors right?

Pistons out: #8 and Rodney Stuckey
Warriors out: Harrison Barnes and Brandon Rush

Kinda looks stupid lol!

It would depend on who's available at said draft picks. But both trades are reasonable.

I kindof like the first deal. Vasquez is a pretty good and big PG, and would allow us to keep Knight at SG/swingguard.

Turner, I'm not sure about. He improved this season, but still had some difficult moments. However, he's very young. What might have that work for us is that he's a guy who you can run the offense through, taking the pressure off of Knight while he's developing.

Interesting ideas. If we made both deals, we could grab one of the PF/C's with the 16th pick.

I don't want to part with #8.

Do you think this could work?

Pistons get: Turner

76ers get: Stuckey and 2 second round picks
