Lotta people saying Doc Rivers really wants to coach Bledsoe, but this guy says he's still on his way out:

There has to be some kind of appeal process that the teams could file for an independent body to overrule Stern, no? Even if the odds were unlikely you'd think there'd be something that says Stern's word isn't law.
And I honestly don't understand why Stern is so against it.

Seems like Stern has an axe to grind against the clippers, either way i'm sure they will find a way that is legal where even Stern can't stop it

Stern says any trade situation involving KG to Clips will be a violation.

wow seriously? regardless if it's a legal trade? what's the explanation? This is looking like a totalitarian move, so glad Stern is gone in 2014 and hopefully Silver does a better job

What if its a 3-4-5 team trade wherein KG will still go to LAC? Don't tell me Stern will block it too?

if the trade offer is Fair i see no reason why the Celtics shouldnt be allowed to trade for for KG. Stern loves to give teams the shaft.

Do you like schroeder better than larkin and mccollum or do you just think they wont be there?
I like Schroeder better than Larkin and McCollum (in the long term). He won't be ready for a while, but I think he would be in his prime when the rest of this team is.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. LV - NBA Draft Edition)
It is becoming interesting, and is not good news for Orlando, IMO... This means Celtics are going on a full scale rebuild mode...
Orlando, Charlotte, Cleveland, Washington, Detroit, Phoenix, New Orleans and Sacramento are already on rebuild mode...
It is reported that Bucks will not offer contract to Ellis & JJ so they may also start rebuilding... Philly has a gutted roster right now... Portland too...
It looks like teams have high hopes about the 2014 draft and they want to rebuild according to 2014 draft. More than ten teams will intentionally tank to get Wiggins/Parker in 2014 draft.
If I were Stern, I would be interested in frustrating the teams those are tanking intentionally... Not the teams trying to do a fair trade...

I don't get Stern's position....if you're running your team right, shouldn't all your trades be related to one another and have a domino effect? How the hell is this different?

I'm worried about Boston tanking for Wiggins now. They should still be allowed to trade KG to the Clips though
