Blake for a tpe... Of Nash for a pick and tpe?

Haha really a pick and tpe for Nash, you would have to send us a pick for taking on Nash's albatross contract.

Based on the Sacramento rumor:

Utah Trades:
#14
#21

Utah Receives:
#7
#12
#32
Jimmer Fredette
Kendrick Perkins

Yah, Perkins is overpaid, but next season he becomes an $8,000,000 expiring center who can play solid defense (if nothing else). Jimmer is also overpaid for what he is, but the worst case scenario in eating his contract is that you turn down the TO. To me, that's worth it to move up a couple of spots. We aren't going to be making any splashes in free agency anyways, so this seems like a good route to take in order to get over the minimum threshhold and keep adding young talent.

The Kings drop a couple spots in the draft, but in a year where depth is reported to be better than quality (I actually think this will be a decent draft), adding a second pick could potentially be better than having just one. Clearing a bit of salary and the logjam at point guard is a nice added bonus.

If the Thunder want to resign Martin, they'll be able to without going over the luxury tax threshhold. In addition, they'll have their MLE to spend on the side. It costs picks, but with Perry Jones and Jeremy Lamb already on the bench, the Thunder seem like they have plenty of young talent and would be better off adding some veteran pieces to get them over the hump.
